Brother I wish I could have afforded more at that kind of price - I have other bets pending though which when they get up should give me more chedda, however by the time they resolve QLD will be about $1.17

I can't believe people want Hayne dropped, arguably NSW's best player in the past few years Gallen aside.

IMO aside from Buhrer and Creagh it is a decent side. Swap Buhrer for another prop (Mannah or Woods) and Creagh for Watmough or T.Sims and it is the best possible side they could have picked really.

Yep agree with that. It's so close to being a good side except for the inclusion of Creagh and Buhrer. Hell, I'd even risk leaving Buhrer there if they would just piss Creagh off! Why they left a big, rampaging Sims out for this Origin nuffie, I just don't understand.

I just heard the QLD side announced. We are royally screwed. Shillington, Taylor, Gillett, and Hannant, and that's just the BENCH!!! They're going to monster our forwards and set it up for their backs. How much do we have to lose by for NSW to accept defeat on their stupid "mobile forwards" (read "small" forwards) strategy?

They're kinda the biggest forwards we have though. None of the replacements people are suggesting are much bigger than the current pack. There's just something in the water in QLD. I think limescale maybe

I think:
nsw have a better back row
Better wingers(when in form)
And carney is just as good a player as thurston on his day( just not as consistent)
Gallen is also the best prop(even if out of position)
In attack Jennings can be just as devastating as his opposites

morris, if on the right, will have a shocker i think.

nsw have a genuine chance, but may be a prop too short. defence is their biggest worry, and if gibbs was in the team, i would've given them a good chance of winning this game.
