Anyone else a bit puzzled about Fittler choosing Prior over James to replace RCG and also his elevation straight into the starting side over Vaughan? Prior is a good player, but he's not really setting the world on fire. Just my opinion, but I reckon both James and Vaughan are better.

Perhaps, but I think the others have a bit more to offer on the field, especially James. I thought he'd be the shoe in replacement for RCG - tall, strong & skilful. Freddie obviously has other ideas.

Prior eats up the dirty hitups that many avoid.

Yeah. I think you know what your gonna get with Prior. As you said, dirty hit ups and will make his tackles.

Laurie Daley is on Big Sports Breakfast radio each morning, he was asked yesterday between James & Prior…. he said he would've gone James.... I LOLed while driving when I heard that and knew immediately Freddie has made the right call in selecting Prior

Unlike Ennis , Prior is built for SOO , good selection , NSW starting to work out that substance is better than show
