Pearce… I hate he is anywhere near our origin team, I know he can tackle, but he isnt playing backrow, unfortunately he isnt a ball players bunghole, and hides when the chips are down. I dont like to wish injuries on players, but Pearce is real close to me pulling out the voodoo doll.

I think this is a very well thought out team…

The halves are a perfect balance, and your have fit everyone into the backline that needs to be there. [except Taufua, he is a Qldr]

The bench is a good rotation, except for Reynolds. I'd be looking to rest Farah in Origin so maybe Ennis or even Hinchcliffe?

Reynolds is in top form and is playing better then I thought he could. He can fill in at hooker fairly well while Farah has a rest but has better versatility value should we get an injury somewhere compared to other players. Kurt Gidley obviously can play anywhere but he shouldn't be anywhere near State of Origin.

Not having Hayne in your run on side is suicide

I just feel he is too injury prone to be starting and we may get more out of him over three games coming off the bench than starting and potentially missing vital games.
I could take McManus out and put Hayne on the wing and bring Renyolds onto the bench, but watching the Warriors /Bulldogs today, Renyolds was not impressive at all.

After watching Hayne in the WC, it would be madness for him not to be a starting centre. He was the Kangaroo's second best all tournament. It gave him room to run onto the ball and use his frame, space to run and create play and structure to focus his defence.

Put him on the wing and he is a waste. Put him at fullback and lose an x factor in Dugan. Hayne will kill it at centre….I, as a Queensland fan, hope your selectors are too stupid to do this.

Does Lewis still play Rugby League?

Don't forget Gidley played a full game the other week… He is a shoe-in now!

Exactly Watto! If NSW were serious about winning, both Lewis and Gidley would be nowhere near being considered for selection this year.

These guys that are chosen _every_ year, like Lewis, Watmough, Bird, Gallen and Merrin, whilst they're all good players in their own right, they ain't gonna win the series for us. They lack the impact of the Qld forwards although the selection of Fifita and Cordner is a step in the right direction, at least. Let's face it though, until we can field a stable spine and a dominant halves pairing (like Qld do every series) I'm afraid NSW are probably in for more of the same, sadly.

You obviously didnt watch last years origin series if you have doubts over Luke Lewis previously. He was NSW best forward in every game. However this year I wouldnt pick him cause hes lost a lot of weight with his radiation. But last year he was our best.

Jennings is a real threat to Queensland and Morris has shut down Inglis. They won't want to mess that combination and rightfully so.
