NSW Potential 2014 Side

This is the side I think NSW will pick.

1\. Dugan

4\. Hayne
5\. Hopoate/Richards
6\. Mullen
7\. Pearce
8\. Tamou
9\. Farah
10\. Fifita
11\. Bird
12\. Cordner
13\. Gallen

14\. Reynolds
15\. Woods
16\. Merrin
17\. Watmough

If they go with anyone but Maloney at 5/8 I reckon they might pick Richards for his goal kicking.
 
Please not Pearce. Never again. He's had his chance. Time to go.

Reynolds and Sutton at the halves for me.

Call me crazy but I still think Minichello is the most consistent and reliable full back in NSW. I'd put him in the fullback role and move Hayne to the wing.

To me it's not the blues players that let us down so much as the coaches who keep picking players without any consideration of form whatsoever (Pearce, Maloney etc).
 
Rooster big men SBW, JWH and guys like Michael Jennings were great last night. Pearce and Maloney were both average, man that game should have been something for them to work on their highlights package. Really worried, really want Reynolds & Reynolds now badly.

Geez you reckon the selectors would still be looking at Gidley? And Lewis, who hasn't played a game all year? I'd be very disappointed if that was the case. Same old, same old unsuccessful combinations. I reckon NSW needs some fresh blood in the back row - I'd put Cordner and Guerra in the second row, with Gallen at lock and keep Hayne at fullback, where he plays his best football. Bird and Watmough can bugger off (maybe put one of them on the bench). The old short stocky bash brother back row thing is getting stale.

Pretty sure Guerra is a Queenslander.

NSW have talented players

Problem is most of them are in their 40's and 50's now

Goal kicking a worry but hayne and bird can take care of this. I originally had patty on the wing but tupou has forced his way in.
 
I'd like to see Josh Jackson in the mix for a spot. I've never really bought into the hype around Cordner.
 
Looks like Greg Bird will miss game 1

Got a grade 3 charge that will see him miss 4 weeks if he doesn't fight the charges and 6 weeks if he does and loses

If he loses and gets 6 weeks because of the two byes the Titans have he will miss the entire series

they are probably trying to justify Game 1 as 1 of his missed games, but if he is rubbed out before this weeks games, he isn't eligible for selection!

I bet he wishes they would delete that photo of his tongue poking out looking grotesque throwing the pass :laughing:
 
And I wish now I posted what I was thinking earlier

Thought that Titans might challenge the grading of the charge , and they have

Wonder if they were informed to do so by the NSWRL ??
