NSW SOO Team

Hinchcliffe may have played hiself onto the bench for Origin 1\. Can play hooker, centre or back row

Not a bad thing, it seems that they are serious about Youth policy…

Im hoping Mannah gets a spot on the bench. He is a good honest Straight running player.

My team.

1\. Dugan
2\. Morris
3\. Gasnier
4\. Jennings
5\. Uate
6\. Soward (Mullen)
7\. Pearce
8\. Snowden
9\. Farah
10\. Mannah
11\. Houston
12\. Minichello
13\. Gallen

14\. Hayne
15\. Galloway
16\. Tolman
17\. Creagh

It would be fantastic to see a few of our boys make the team.

Big Keith and Rhino put in the hard yacka week in and week out and deserve a crack, dwyer is the new kid on the block going great guns, and Robbie Farah…(as Ray Warren said in the 2005 v manly game at Leichhardt - this kid is good he's very good).

My team would be as follows.

1\. J Dugan
2\. J Hayne
3\. M Gasnier
4\. J Idris (not sure about his defense and "turn around" speed)
5\. B Morris

6\. Now that Soward is sore, J Mullen
7\. M Pearce

13\. C Heighnington
12\. P Gallen
11\. B Creagh
10\. M Weyman (is he hurt?)
9\. R Farah
8\. K Snowden

14\. T Mannah
15\. T LLars (but has not impresses at all)
16\. K Galloway
17\. A Tolman

18\. S Dwyer

Sterlo has just named his personal preference for NSW…He has put both Ennis and Young in his side.

Are we just too biased in our assessment of Robbie? I dont believe so but fair dinkum, no-one outside of our club rates him high enough.

Starting to believe we must be! I don't get it at all. I have always respected Sterlo's opinions. If they don't rate Robbie, then I'm all for giving Young a go, but I am at a loss to see why Ennis is still up there. He has under-performed in 4 Origin games now, yet not one so called rugby league expert has seemed to notice this. Robbie fluffed one game and all of them noticed - it will be held against him forever, I fear.

We are not bias, just that people are complete idiots when it comes to the Tigers and only know of one Benji Marshall. He is the 2nd best hooker in the game but people want the 20th in Young starting over him. This is why I don't care anymore.

It makes you sick. Farah is the best option but these brain dead fools think other wise. I an sick of all of the politics.

Screw them. I hope they get belted in origin.

Dragons fans don't even rate Young as a hooker, yet we are going to get him there at origin. I don't think we are biased about Robbie, but the way he plays makes it difficult for him to slot into a side in 10 days. His style makes a lot of the game about him, unlike Smith who plays a very selfless game in my opinion. I think Smith is a long way ahead of Farah, who is a clear second, then Ballin, Luke, Friend and Ennis follow in that order.

This team can win the series:

1\. Hayne
2\. Morris (L)
3\. Cooper (L) get him out of rep retirement
4\. Gasnier (R) captain
5\. Uate (R) Gordon here if he didn't get injured
6\. Carney (gk) Might be underdone but class and his understanding with Pearce will get him through
7\. Pearce
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Snowden
11\. Creagh (L)
12\. Lewis (R)
13\. Gallen (Middle)

14\. Bird - proven origin performer
15\. Watmough - aggression and offers speed and impact late in the game.
16\. Mannah
17\. Tolman

Lahrs in for Watmough if fit. Gordon and Gidley not considered because of injury. Scott 18th man and Dwyer 19th man for experience. Idis has too many errors in his game. Bird and Lewis offer utility value and the ability to pitch in at hooker, the halves and centres.

I would go with:

1\. Michael Gordon
2\. Brett Morris
3\. Mark Gasnier
4\. Michael Jennings
5\. Jarryd Hayne
6\. Jamie Soward
7\. Mitchell Pearce
8\. Kade Snowden
9\. Robbie Farah
10\. Keith Galloway
11\. Beau Scott
12\. Anthony Watmough
13\. Paul Gallen ©

14\. Luke Lewis
15\. Tim Mannah
16\. Aiden Tolman
17\. Jamal Idris

Would've had TLL as starting prop if not for injury, with Galloway back on the bench in place of Tolman (not sure he is ready for soo yet)

well now that gordons gone looks like we'll have to have soward as we need a good goal kicker. TLL being out as a big loss as he was a weapon in city country and was our best prop last yr. so my revised team is:
1\. Hayne
2\. Morris (L)
3\. Gasnier (R)
4\. Idris (L)
5\. Uate (R)
6\. Soward (GK)
7\. Pearce
8\. Snowden
9\. Ennis
10\. Galloway
11\. Lewis
12\. Bird
13\. Gallen

14\. Watmough
15\. Mannah
16\. Tolman
17\. Young/Scott
i originally had jennings at centre and idris on the bench instead of young/scott but im not too sure how serious jenning's injury is? im not a fan of creagh so he's not in my side

I dont want any tigers in this years team because there is no way N.S.W can win

the fact is it Lockyer's last year and there is noway they will loose this year.

and all the qlder's that are playing this year are on fire.

plus Ricky's coaching style is all about defense and cant coach attack

smell like a qlder white wash and i dont want any tigers to be in it, i would be happy to wait till next year

According to TK on the Roast from his "phantom source"
1.Dugan
2.Uate
3.Gasnier
4.Idris
5.Morris
6.Soward
7.Pearce
8.Merrin
9.Ennis
10.King

Bench undecided but Snowden likely, if this is the team they will get smashed.

If they pick that side for all 3 games Ive got a three words for you 3 Nil Qld

tk's source puts king in the team? is that a joke? wats the point in putting an old very average player in the team. they should go with someone whos just as good but a bit younger eg any of the dragons props. luke lewis has to be in the side that guy is all class. and gred bird is a must! he gets MOTM in almost every rep game he plays. hes a like a queenslander in that he can be in average club form but then he goes out and rips up the rep games

basically, the competition for spots is down to this:
Fullback: Hayne, Dugan, Stewart
Wing: Hayne, Uate, B Morris
Centre: Gasnier, Idris, J Morris, Jennings
5/8: Mullen, Soward, Carney
Halfback: Mullen, Pearce
Hooker: Young, Ennis, Farah
Prop: Mannah, Snowden, Tolman, Lahrs, Galloway
Second Row: Lewis, Scott, Bird, Creagh, Watmough
Lock: Gallen (the only certainty)

Anyone outside that bucnh gets selected I'll be shocked.
