NSW SOO Team

Is it un-australian of me to want NSW to get smashed?

Seriously, Tim Mannah? He got killed by Dan Hunt on friday night, did nothing in Origin one, so lets promote him to the starting side? Unbelievable.

I dont agree with Hopoate, but at least its an exciting gamble…however.....the guy isnt even playing league next year.

how can it be 'un-australian' when they're both australian teams?…such a dork expression

where to start? was funny reading Stuart's article this morning claiming he doesn't have to justify his selections nor does he want team selections played out in the media yet he devotes an entire article to it

1 thing that has been proven this yr is that the NSW team isn't about picking players with ability its about picking players who will fit into the culture. In other words its not about how they perform on the field its about how they bond during a p&*s up

was anyone watching the team announcment on fox sports news and the reactions of the news readers after the announcment? Chris Warren was estatic with the team :crazy

If the latest news is correct (There is always plenty of doubt that ANY news service gets it right!) that Anthony Minichiello is in line for a position if Josh Dugan is ruled out, Ricky Stewart should be paid out, immediately.

yeah way to think of the future there….and adding to that picking Hoppa Jnr, a good pick on the surface, except he won't be around for the next couple of years....

Well done Sticky, great stuff....and picking Hayne out of position, I didn't think that was going to happen?

I like the look of the 2nd SOO team.

I think the outside backs look quick and dangerous and the forwards look better with Gallen in the front row.

The problem to me is in the halves and at hooker. I don't think any of them are game breakers.

I also don't see any real alternatives at this stage either. Maybe Hayne at 6.

If Farah gets his game back together than he is a shoe in at 9 but at the moment Ennis is the better choice.

I cant believe you so called NSW supporters

Oh ok. So it's alright for some so called tiger fans to bag any and every team line up, but no one dare question the NSW line up. Farah can have one ordinary game and he's blacklisted, but **Ennis can go 5 games straight of mediocre performances,** but let's not question that. Hopoate has played less than 20 games and won't be in the Nrl next year, but don't question that.

Some muppets on here eat up every bit of crap the telegraph serves up…others don't.

5 mediocre performances, of which two he has directly contributed to the loss.

Only two recognised props. Both benchies for their club on most occasions in the side and a winger/fullback playing centre.

Bravo Sticky, bravo. You are about as monged out as Dave Taylor looks

Really it is a case of history repeating for NSW.

Two things I am certain of in this series: Queensland will walk away with it, and Ennis will come out of it smelling like roses.

The closest Bob Fulton should be allowed to the NSW team is commentating from 2GB's commentary box. I loathe Laurie Daley but at least he fell on his sword and thats something that silly old fart needs to consider as well… That team smacks of his influence.

My thoughts exactly when I heard the team.

Ricky Stuart = Pinocchio
Don't play people out of position ,stick by the team and build for the future…..
Now we have a young kid who wont be available for the next two years playing out of position , the captain now out of position , players dumped and we about to bring in Minichello - now thats the future.
He has picked two specialist front rowers - one of whom had a real shocker in game 1 and is lucky to still be there.
And don't even mention Ennis who has kept his great Origin form going for the Bulldogs....

I can't stand Sticky and I don't see how he was named as the SOO coach but in his defence Gallen plays tight and like a front-rower anyway, Bird at lock makes sense and Hopoate can play.

Now Uate might miss the game through suspension. We'll probably wind up with James McManus, Steve Turner and Dave Williams as the back 3 by next Wednesday.
