I think that was the side many people would have named.

Woods is class and will fit into origin like he has been there for years.

Dugan is the 2nd best fullback in the state and he'll do a good job. His size and evasiveness will worry Queensland.

Reynolds carries on the apparent need for a utility.

no one can take dugan's spot if he's injured though- if you're wasting a space for utility, it might even be a proper player who can cover 1-7 and not just 6,7,9

Brett Morris has played more than enough Fullback to cover it in a pinch. Ferguson is also another one capable.

EDIT: Josh Morris also came into first grade as a fullback.

Good to see Woodsie in the side, well deserved. He won't let us down. Congrats mate!

true but still not convinced since qld have inglis and boyd who can cover FB tbh.

we basically have 2 frontrowers who willl play their first origin series- would've loved to have mason as an experienced person in place of reynolds.

Good side, only 2 changes, one forced by injury and the other forced by stupidity (on Tamou's part). I feel that Reynolds is a must for this game considering the fitness and injury cloud Farah is under, if he goes off early then Reynolds can play hooker. We showed in game 1 that our pack has enough endurance to handle the 80 with 3 subs. Woods is the only starter who doesn't play 80 minutes at NRL level. Hoffman, Bird, Lewis and Gallen can all go 80 if they have to.

Woods is probably the only out and out prop in the NRL that could go 80 minutes if required. He has done it in the past. He was selected because he can and does play big minutes and we need that with only 16 men.

Could be another change in the side, Ferguson in some sort of off field drama and what a shocker, Dugan was with him

I'd go Uate, Ferguson was good in game 1 getting in to dummy half and easing the workload of our forwards in game 1\. Replace him with another winger who can do the same.
