Disappointing result for the Tigers once again. They put in the effort, but they have been let down in the halves for quite some time now. Lui was pretty quiet overall. His kicking game wasn't too flash and he didn't really take the line on either. He threw 3 passes which led directly to tries, 2 for Murdoch and one for Tikinau.

Mistakes in poor field position cost the Tigers dearly tonight and they have a habit of giving away cheap penalties which doesn't help either. Roqica was good up front, he's developing nicely as a front rower. Murdoch was devastating on the Tigers right edge, scoring a great 40 metre try initially and then hitting a great hole and running 25 metres to score his second. He is very quick for a bloke that weighs 110kg too, he's explosive off the mark and I think training with the fulltime squad would really benefit him for next year.

Shaun Spence held up the left edge well and Jake Clarke and Finau were both dangerous at times. Tim Simona in the centres had a game he would rather forget, losing the ball a couple of times and getting caught with it when the Tigers had a good overlap.
