NYC side Vs Storm

Hmmm…losing your strike weapon in Mullaney and up to 6 or 7 regular's throughout the season may have a little to do with it as well...

They blew plenty of opportunities today that's for sure....crucial errors cost them points too...

They will give it everything next week to be the Titans and make the 8 from there anything is possible...

Some poor options in attack really hurt them today. Our 20's have too much talent and should not be in the position we are now in, having to beat the titans on their turf…

They were ordinary. Shaun Spence is not good enough for NYC IMO, just too slow. The other problem is halfback, Ayoub is not the answer. I'd like to see Bodie Clarke and Sironen in the halves, they're both five eighths but I think they're better than the alternatives.

On a positive note, it was great to see Woods back. If he stays injury free for the rest of the year and has a good off season I think he'll be in the mix for first grade round 1.

Not sure but the coaching staff have a high opinion of Shaun Spence… and if you ever make it to training you will see why. Plus there is also "The Shaun Spence Appreciation Society"

Ayoub on the other hand lets just say is not one of the best trainers.

Dont you just like the ill informed..

Shaun played busted for almost half the season…the knee was scheduled for surgery a couple of times but due to injury and fitness issues with other players he plugged on....

Doesn't really matter what we think though...Sheens rates the kid and has had him training with FG all off season...he will reap the benefits I'm sure.....

sorry mate i was referring to the previous post quoted you ..to slow for NYC lol…...I was agreeing with you....

I know you know and are well informed especially when it comes to Wests Magpies/Tigers juniors...

I'll be there…

Dunno yet 117…these things are generally decided closer to the event depending on ground availability and other teams and their plans....

Would you like a Personal message when I find out....Last year the 1st 1 was against the Doooogies at Sefton so the could be anywhere...

Was my first close up look.. like siiting right next to Ben Murdoch ...didn't dissapoint

Great bunch of kids this year to from what I'm hearing...

from what i hear the coaching staff were extremely dissapointed with the attitude from a LOT of last years squad from about midway through the season.

the direct quote i heard was 'they thought they just had to rock up to win the comp'

i dont know which players they were referring to, but im sure they've been moved on. hopefully this years team is much more disciplined, because theres no doubt last years squad was one of the most talented in the comp, to finish 9th was a truely terrible result.

Injuries in key positions (halves & fullback) hurt that squad - but fergie you are right in regards to some of the attitude-based concerns that the coaching staff possessed!!

Even big Ben was not immune - and copped a serious "wake-up" mid-season!

As for Florimo to CCB - his Dad is the CEO after all! No loss to us at either half or hooker!

Another one of our former kids from the Coast who was cut due to bad attitude Coedi Towney has signed with Penrith - didn't they get the message after signing Daine????

Hahahahahaha really Red….Coedi will fit right in at the Panfers...Elliott seems a bit more relaxed with like turnin up to trainin and stuff..
