Wests Tigers Media

Tue 25th July, 03:50PM

Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Chris Hutchison has named his squad to take on the Gold Coast Titans this Sunday, July 30 for their Round 21 clash at Cbus Super Stadium.

Kickoff for the match is at 1:45pm AEST as Wests Tigers look to put a heartbreaking last-minute defeat to the Parramatta Eels last Sunday behind them against a strong Titans outfit.

Hutchison has confirmed a number of changes to this week's side with Liam Pakau and Peter Pakoti both returning from injury in the backs, while Jakob Giles returns at lock forward.

After a solid game last week, Josh Bermingham starts in the halves alongside Jai Doolan, with Jake Scott, Ben Seufale, Royce Tout and Rhys Sciglitano all named on the interchange bench.

Wests Tigers Holden Cup will be looking to win all three games in Queensland this year for the first time in Club history, having beat the Broncos (Round 11) and Cowboys (Round 6).

No 21 was an Australian Schoolboy rep at prop two years ago with Papenhuyzen. Played with Terrigal High School and must have been released by the Roosters.

Tigers having a red hot crack in the second half and trail 26-22 now.

26-26 draw, great comeback and result for the side given the halftime score and injuries sustained during the game.
