NYC Team Announcement: Wests Tigers vs Penrith

NYC Head Coach Andrew Webster has named his first squad of the season for the trial match against Penrith at Camden.

Webster has named an extended squad for the first hit out of the season in a game that will allow him to assess his group leading into the 2014 season.

Webster will rotate his side throughout the match.

The squad is highlighted by Mitchell Moses who will play part of the match before featuring off an extended bench for the NRL side later in the evening.

Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets to the match to avoid ticket queues as a full house is expected.

Looking forward to seeing this Marion Seve, and I recall Tom Satterthwaite getting a lot of raps before as well

Pretty impressive that 5 of the 6 keebra park boys that came down over summer have been picked in the starting team. Should be a strong team again this year.

Any word on where Iroa is? Injured?

Very strong team, and with Eli Levido and Cherrington also playing in the NRL trials there's plenty of competition and quality in this young squad.

In the halves to look at Moses, Marshall-King, Martin, Levido.

Satterthwaite was the key outside back for Balmain's championship winning team and I dare say he'll be giving Milone a run for his money this season.

Got to see what our props are like though. No team does well in NYC without quality props, or even just big props. Size matter in NYC!

Any idea where jarrad szczudlo is?

He is too old for NYC, and was going to be a welcome addition to our NYC teams for the last 2 years, but had injury plagued seasons… Shoulder surgery then knee surgery!

He is a monster front rower.

Still has a year left on contract, but can't find him in our squads for trials?

does anyone know what our frontrow is like this year, do we have any monsters, or has the recruitment been the same small engine room.

Ritchie Ene didn't return from NZ at the end of last season. He was a big unit.

PL

Thats a shame. I rated him. Just needed to get his fitness right and he could have done anything.

No longer eligible for NYC. He's now part of the State Cup squad but hasn't travelled to Alice Springs from the look of it. Hope he can string a few games together this year. Poor bloke has done it real tough over the last 2 years.
