Frances Fifita isn't Sa Fifita is he? If not then I guess he isn't with us after all?

Wests Tigers 2013 NYC training squad
Luke Bonnell, Luke Brooks, Nathan Brown, Manaia Cherrington, Max Dimarco, Jake Dooner, Richard Ene, Matt Fairhurst, Paul Fangaloka, Mason Farrell, Andy Fiagatusa, Frances Fifita, Dallas Graham, Delouise Hoeter, Billy Kitt, Shane Lalogafau, Nafoa Leapai, Leva Li, Kyle Lovett, James Luff, Rhys McLaren, Nathan Milone, Mitchell Moses, Matt Mulcahy, David Nofoaluma, John Ogden,Daniel Rakvin, Kurtis Rowe, Manaia Rudolph, Brendan Santi, Paul Simona, Bradley Soe, Jarrod Szczudlo, Huitau Tuli, Andrew Vela, Luke Williams.

I'm interested to see how Jake Dooner and Rhys McLaren develop over the off season and throughout pre season training. Both were part of this years Wests SG ball team and I played with Jake at Camden this year and we versed Rhys in the U/18s grand final, with him playing for Mittagong. Rhys looks to be aiming for a centre spot with Jake going for a Prop or Lock spot.

Hard task for Payten to run with a strongest 17 each week out of that squad. I'd imagine he'll use at least 25 players through next season, but there's quite a few established players out of this year's premiership winning team.

Just looking at the players and positions you have listed Snoddy…

1\. Kurtis Rowe
2\. David Nofoaluma
3\. Max DiMarco
4\. John Ogden
5\. Paul Simona
6\. Mitchell Moses
7\. Luke Brooks
8\. Nathan Brown
9\. Manaia Cherrington
10\. Jarrod Szczudlo
11\. Andrew Vela
12\. Kyle Lovett
13\. Brendan Santi

14\. Richard Ene
15\. Daniel Rakvin
16\. Frances Fifita
17\. Manaia Rudolph

Hell, I'm probably nowhere near the starting side here, but Payten has some serious talent at his disposal once again next year.

Impressive back row, so many players I'm eagerly looking forward to finally seeing play for the first time especially with all the big wraps being placed on some of them.

We have the best halves, best backrow, best dummy halves, upper echelon outside backs, decent toiling front row (and backrowers that can easily play prop in NYC). We won't lose a match in 2012.

Also James Luff will have the jump on Cherrington I think. Cherrington will be in the top 17 come round 1 though, but Luff is very good, and has a year on the young fella, which is important for a dummy half at this level I think.

James Luff did his ACL in August and it was only his second game of NYC.

I think our biggest problem is fitting all this talent under our salary cap in years to come.

Yeah, we are going to need to identify the absolute cream because a bunch of these guys are going to be pilfered in the coming year or two. We have to make sure it's none of the absolute guns.

It's Ok Mac … Frances Fifita and Sa Fifita are one in the same.

I can't wait to see this kid hit the field! He's big, strong and skillful! No doubt Lenton has cultivated him into a fine league player and onto the path of the next SBW he so highly regarded him to be! LOL

I know that in the NYC alot of the forwards are inter changeable but aren't we short of props, considering how our 1st grade is ATM

Nathan Brown, Jarrad Sczdudldodudlo and Richard Ene are all very handy props. Fifita will end up too big to be anything but a prop lol.

Loads of talent in that squad.

Willow I dont reckon you'll be too far away with that side. I reckon the centres may be a little different

Id expect that Brad Soe will get a run in the centres.

That back row is scary good!
