I'm sure we've looked at him, but Widdop will be the priority imo.

Widdop is the priority unless we sign Johnson

Of all the options available I hope Widdop is our primary target. I think Johnson is a great player but I think Widdop and Brooks will work really well together.

Yeah, I really hope that we can sign Widdop for about 800k.
Widdop would help develop Brooks and they both have decent kicking games and both are good at running at the line. Despite these similarities they are quite different players. Widdop and Brooks would compliment each other and would only cost roughly $1.3 million

Yep agree on all fronts. Then if we retain Tedesco we'll have a very good spine next year (as McIlrick has been excellent)

Yeah, we would have a good spine.
But the spine is only 25% of the team and we need to sign a couple forwards and a quality outside back as well as fitting our spine of Tedesco, Widdop, Brooks, MM/Liddle.
A good spine doesn't necessarily mean you have a good team but it certainly helps

**THE STAR OF THE TEAM IS THE TEAM**

Reynolds is rubbish. Ask the Doggies fans what they think of him FFS. He's Benji with funny eyes. Nothing more than that. Absolutely no thanks.

Well we will need a new 5/8 sooner or later depending on whether Moses stays the year.

My two bobs worth
Reynolds & Whiddup asking for the same coin? Whiddup
Bulldogs supplementing Reynolds by 50%? Reynolds

Whiddup is more of an organiser, that's why last couple of years he's been ordinary. With Benji how can you organise anything?
I think Brooks will improve under Cleary, a lot.

Brooks needs a running 5/8 and that's Reynolds strength.

I tend to believe that having Reynolds at 5/8 will help Idris too.
If Tedesco were to stay I think he would benefit. I also like the fighter in Reynolds - something we have lacked.

Anyway, I'd only take Reynolds if the Bulldogs paid quite a bit of his contract money.

Reynolds is off contract so if he comes here we will be paying every single cent…

If you watched him play today you would be pretty happy to have him in your team. I like most hate the guy, but he tries hard and when it works its hard not to be impressed. Try saving tackles, setting up tries, milking penalties. He has it all.

Hes a competitor and a footy player, he plays what he sees and not from a play book
He inspires his team mates and annoys the opposition and their fans…just what you want
Wont happen

If you wanted someone to organise a team, I wouldn't touch with a bargepole. That's part of the reason Dogs sometimes flounder.

If you have a good organising half and want a running 5/8 with plenty of ticker to complement, he's great.

Hel stay at bulldogs for sure.. Why des doesnt put mbye straight hooker and start frawley at 7 is beyond me. Reminds me of Sheens.

Bulldogs only need a fullback.. 😐.

Idont rate the dogs or souths though.. Boring and predictable play..
