$750k a year, a lttle high, but our options are not great at the moment, I would have a crack at Milford if Johnson is not an option

Heaps of ticker, decent running game….can't lead a team around to save his life.

Brooks plays his best when he can lead the team around, same as Moses.

Reynolds would be the perfect foil for Brooks.

This is why I think that Moses and Cory Norman will not be as good as everyone thinks, due to the fact they are both the same style of player.
Neither are organising types of player, both play off cuff players.

For $750k per year i'll have him , he solely beat the Rabbits last week on his own. The tougher the game the more he thrives on it .

$650k per year i think is more his going rate but unfortunately we will have to pay overs to attract top notch players .

$3M over 4 years is apparently what we've offered Reynolds - Via 7 news.
One thing to note - Kelly Egan spent plenty of time with Josh at the bulldogs.

IS this just another fake Rumour or is this legit?
I hope so as much as I dislike him he would bring passion that we need.

How the standards of the Wests Tigers have slipped.

Not only by thinking of signing this grub but to offer him 750,000 - can't believe it.

A leopard never changes it's spots - what about the attempted trip on Brooks in the Kev try movement. Should have been sent off.

Besides Leopards and Tigers don't get on.

Looks to be confirmed that we've made a bid, but no other news surrounding it yet. Only made headlines an hour ago.

1\. Ignore the amounts as the numbers in the media are never correct and always depend on who the source is

2\. I think Reynolds would be a really good signing. He brings attitude the kind of win at all costs attitude that flows through a team and that is priceless what people miss is that it isn't just about how he plays but he makes his team mates play better and he makes the opposition play worse plus he isn't a bad half himself.

3\. I think he is better in pure half like play then he gets to show because at the dogs he has been stuck with Mbye while Brooks gives him a much more traditional half and its no surprise he has played better when Frawley has been on the field. Also at the Dogs you have a lot more involvement and well getting in the way from the forwards whereas at the tigers that might not nessecarily be the case.

If we sign Reynolds I will be happy and remember the reasons you hate him will then be reasons for other teams fans to hate him and we could do with more hate and less pity from opposition fans

I think a lot of people on this forum think the salary cap is still 3.5 million dollars. Something you need to know is that clubs actually have to spend a certain % of the cap. Something Like 90% of it (I'll have to confirm that number)

Agree SG and if we are looking at 9.2 over 30 players. Now that is an average of over 300k each

However when you look at a top 20 are probably taking 7.5m of that roughly up to 375 each.

Now if you go down to the top 13 they are probably on an average of $450-$500k each and your spine players are all on the upside of that while backrowers, centres, wingers get the lower end.

If we can secure our halves with 1.2m a yr roughly between Brooks and Reynolds also taking into account that some of reynolds money would be outside the cap in 3rd party then we are actually doing well because it means we can strengthen the rest of the squad

I like the idea of Brooks and Reynolds as a combo. Brooks can run the show with the support of an experienced half (grand finals and SOO). He is a bit grubby and has some dumb plays but they come out because he is a competitor and just wants to win which is what we need in this club.
