Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

Ive never been a big fan of his but I guess I will become one. One thing for certain, he never gives up. He'll gee our mob up for the full 80 minutes and lead by example. Good pick up if true.

I agree as i said i hope it is $750 or less, didnt someone quote and i may be wrong here but at $750 for Reynolds that would roughly equate to 7 % of the cap which is more than fair for an accomplished 5/8\. Even if its $750 and some TPA's car ect thats fair enough but of our cap space id hate to go above those figures and $950 is astronomical.

At this point in time he's better than Moses more experienced which is what we lack and has mongrel which we also need, so paying him similar money to what Moses wanted is good business. But i guess we're never going to know 100% what the real figures would be.

Oh how the tides have turned, Woods and Tedesco are old and distasteful news, Josh Grubby Reynolds is welcomed with open arms.

I can echo one thing many people have said already - you won't leave a game thinking Reynolds didn't bust his butt, even if his touch can be found wanting.

That's a smart buy (IMO). that's an upgrade on Moses for the same dollars.

Same article claims Canterbury offered him $500K. Referring back to my post about the halves merry go round, we offered more money, a long term contract and obviously no one else was really on the look out for a half as Parra and the Dogs have made / are making their moves on others.

Got him at more than what the Dogs were offering and well less than what Potential Moses was demanding. A happy medium IMO.

Still chasing 2 more forwards and outside backs. Full back should be the next announcement. They have put feelers out to a few players. Would expect the fullback position to be sorted in the next couple weeks.

If packer signs then its job done on front row starters just need a couple 250k bench depth props.

Helps if he had a half worth a pinch of crap inside him, Mbye has gone to rubbish. Frawley and Reynolds complimented well, they've shafted the wrong half IMO.

Couldn't agree more (with CB). If we signed Mbye I'd be extremely disappointed. Reynolds will give every game 100%. Hopefully Ivan can be a calming influence on him also.
 
I have a friend who is a doggies supporter and he thinks we've got the better end of the trade including Reynolds and Woods.
