Unfortunately culture is not the only ingredient in a successful team..

At this rate JT will be the coach of the Tigers for the next ten years.. He has the excuses to back his lack of innovation skills. Blame the salary cap, previous coach, previous board, Robbie F, young team, no forwards.. But…..

Oh Waite I forgot in 2015 we let in less points than 2014, and less points than in 2005.

In 2005 we let in more points than 2015 and win the comp.
In 2015 we let in less points than 2005 and we came 15th

Blinkers anyone?

Don't just blindly look at the stats. Try and remember when we let those points in. A lot of times it was when we were on top of the opposition and they snatched the game back from us. When a team needs to score against us to stem the tide they invariably manage to do so.

We need quantity as well as quality - our NSW Cup squad is pretty thin as it is, and there'll no doubt be a bit of turnover there as well.
Signing these guys is not having any impact on us getting some forwards for the first grade team.

I am confident that a couple of competent forwards will be signed soon.

do u know something that we all dont?

Gubb, Ikahifo and possibly even some one from the dogs…...

TeMaire Martn was released as we need to do whats good for the game. NRL directors run us no point having a gun backup junior get him to another club.

LOL, what an absurd load of crap! :roll

Reckon Te Maire was let go because it was in his best interests. We hadn't triggered out option, and he got a good 3 yr offer from the panthers that would have some immediate benefit and long term better for him. I'm sure the club wanted to keep him, but then again as a kid playing in 20's is he really worth 85k?

Hunt is a good replacement for Richards and a good back up for Teddy. If either Teddy or Hunt get injured we can bring Hoeter into the side.

Now…we need some bloody forwards ffs.

I'm a hull fc fan over in England where rankin has been playing his rugby! Me and all the fans are gutted he is leaving us, is a very good player and will be a great asset to west Tigers.
Last night we played Huddersfield he played full back was manor the match and two tries, great game, plays full back or in the halves, fast, great step and attitude and professional to the core! Your getting a great player and great lad.
Me for one will be a west Tigers supporter from now on!

On Martin yes he has enormous potential but he is probably a couple years off NRL standard, what we badly need are a couple of backs and a couple of forwards who are NRL standard who can be called up from reserve grade and get the job done. This year we really got burnt when we had to call up players from reserve grade. So I think the club has made some very smart budget signings

I doubt if they'd let him go but Shaun Lane would be an awesome buy if he is the dog's forward you are referring to.
