Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs full back Moses Mbye will leave the club at the end of this season to take up a three-year deal with the Wests Tigers.

The 24 year-old, who debuted for the Bulldogs in 2014, has currently made 92 appearances and scored 16 NRL tries for the club.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill paid credit to Mbye's time at the Bulldogs:

"Today I would like to confirm that Moses Mbye has sought a release from his current contract which the club has granted. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Moses for his time with the Bulldogs and his contribution to the club on and off the field. Even though he will be taking up an offer to join the Wests Tigers for season 2019, I know that he is committed to putting all his energies into the Bulldogs for the rest of this season and finishing strongly with the club.

Making this announcement now means that both Moses and the club can now put all their focus on making sure that we have a strong second half to this season."

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Moses Mbye for the coming four seasons.

The new agreement will see Mbye join Wests Tigers next season and be a part of the club until at least the end of 2022.

The 24-year-old has played 92 NRL games since making his debut in 2014.

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary said he looked forward to working with Mbye.

"Moses is a talented young man and we look forward to having him join Wests Tigers next season," said Cleary. "He's developed into an exciting player and I know he'll bring a lot to our club, both on and off the field."

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe welcomed Mbye to the club.

"Moses is an exciting addition to our playing squad and I look forward to having him at Wests Tigers for the coming four seasons," said Pascoe. "He's an impressive young man and I'm sure he'll quickly become a favourite with our Members and fans."

4 years? Maybe chase lichaa and we can build our future around the high performing dogs spine from last year

I would like to take a moment to thank the wonderful coach who made this possible. If it weren’t for his actions over the last couple of years we would never have signed a class player like Mbye

Thank you Des 😝

Pretty stoked with the signing, but gutted it's not for this year. We need a player of his quality now! Still a few weeks before the end of June so could still be a small chance ala Moses… maybe.

Outstanding news and for 4 years… We are now starting to bring quality players to our club that 1 year ago did not want a part of us.. Well done Coach and CEO
