Official Moses Mbye signs till 2022..

I am reliably told Dogs are paying 250k. Mbye was on 900k for the next 2 years which, is staggering.
I have no knowledge of the 4 year deal we negotiated as its complexly seperate to what the Dogs know. They believe we have signed him on 650k p.a for 4 years.

I believe Mbye has agreed to come before June 30 with the Tigers paying him 400k for this year. The math is we are then paying 550k p.a for 4 years. I’ll guess he will be here on the 18th of June week before our bye.

cool. if that's the case, i'd a happy with both the timings and yearly costs. With the Bulldogs pay that much, I don't see that as overs for us.

Sounds like good management.

In how many weeks will he be here?

Two and a bit weeks with that date

So is that set in stone or can it change?

Given Ivan stance on player swapping mid season..I'd be surprised if he came this Year..

That part was a guess.

If it happens this year the 3 player swap makes sense. Knights could defiantly use Grant this year and dogs could get a head start to develop Meany and top up someone in their cap to give them even more wiggle room for next year.

Everyone wins.

Cleary arranged for Tui to come over mid-season.

And Twal, I guess.

Eisenhuth and MWZ?

Ivan made note a point of differnce that these players were languishing in reserve grade and moses was a senior player the team was built around.

I guess the only differnce between mbye is our cap was not a mess letting mitch moses go.

**Yet Another Twist In Moses Mbye's Move To The Wests Tigers**

_THE RUSH HOUR WITH MG_

https://www.triplem.com.au/sport/nrl/news/yet-another-twist-in-moses-mbyes-move-to-the-wests-tigers

Triple M and The Australian's Brent Read has dropped two huge bombshells surrounding Bulldogs duo Moses Mbye and Aaron Woods.

Earlier this week, Mbye officially joined the Tigers with his contract due to begin in 2019, after the fullback was forced out of the Bulldogs due to salary cap restraints.

However on The Rush Hour with MG, Ready revealed the secret talks between Mbye and the Tigers about the 24-year-old potentially joining the club this year.

Ready also revealed the Bulldogs will not stand in the way of prop Aaron Woods in leaving the club this year as well.

Isn't Brent Read usually on the money with stuff with the Tigers as there is some link with us and the Australian.

If you can listen he basically said the ball is now in Mbyes court if he wants to go now and the Dogs wont stand in his way. Also the same with Woods if he can get an offer and sharks are currently favorites.
