Honestly don't get the Hunt stuff. Thrown in to start one game, obviously wasn't up to it - but everyone knew that would be the case. He's an impact player. He'll give you a good 20 minutes, which is more than what we sometimes use on the fourth interchange. Offers so much more off the bench then Bird.

In an ideal world I'd have played AD lock from the interchange, have someone get through the intensity of the first 20 and then let AD run amuck with Luai and Latu.

2nd row is the obvious concern there, otherwise best we could do I guess.

Wonder what ADs thinking?

Some have suggested for years he's the perfect 13, just needs to get busy in defence.

@batboy , @Lestronge for example.

He's actually huge and probably one of our biggest players. I hope he carves up and it'll really address one of issues, if he chooses to stay.

I really think he believes he's a genuine half and will see those opportunities elsewhere but let's see what he can deliver on Sunday.

Actually very excited for this game.
Quite a decent 17 with some big calls made.
Hope we get the win.

We need to buy some 2nd rowers big time IMO..

Like the team considering but could you imagine a damaging 2FR like David Fifita running lines to create space for the outside backs.

It has been a long while since Fifita was damaging and i am sure he would not come here unless we paid him big dollars.

I think AD has all the skill to be a great lock in attack, if he applies himself and works on his game there - he could be a real weapon.

IMO he's more a lock than any other position.

Would love to keep him here if he's willing to play there.

He might believe he’s a starting half
- but that’s just being a rock head, or blind arrogance.
He may well get a ‘chance’ to prove his wares at a club with all the expansion and such - I’ve never been more certain it will be short lived.
There are plenty of halves not getting a gig at the moment, Hastings, Townsend, Ilias, the cows kid, the South’s international, and premiership winning halves all floating around in reserve grade.

AD could be a rep level middle or edge back rower, utility at worst - just doesn’t have the spine for it.
He’s pissing away his career trying to make a fist of the halves.
Just swallow your pride and learn to tackle AD - you’ll thank us later.

See @TSP I told you he would be named for the Titans game. Now you can stop crying about the injustices against Taylan May.

Glad to see Seyfarth was named in place of Samuela. Huge upgrade. Many tries down that left edge are coming,
Yes you called it, well done.

But we will never know the impact he could have made in recent games apast.
All we know is that we lost most of them absent his presence.

That said, he’s arrived now and I’m hoping he can turn things around for us and save the club from another year in the abyss.

And Benji has made a good decision to give him a crack.

Strike player to his core. If anything he might be guilty of trying too hard.

And no less important, his growth as a person. I think he will find that having more respect for himself, will improve his game and help his friends and family.

I have said in the past that it is his best position BUT only if he lifts his workrate up including his mobility. The ball is in his court.
