OFFICIAL TEAM FOR FOUNDATION CUP 2012

Great team. swap a **_fully fit_** Lote for Utai and that is a class outfit top to bottom (not saying Utai isn't class, he's fantastic, but Lote is genuine class.)

What a great squad we have. 25 players who are all fighting for 17 spots. This is our year. :sign:

I find the omission of Mitch Brown somewhat peculiar, however if we can name THAT team every week, he'd be hard pressed to crack it into the top 17.

Sheens will run the likes of brown and bmm in the second half like last week. The no1 team will get maybe 40 minutes and than he will roll out a few of the depth players

Strong side. There will more than likely be several late additions to the team once State Cup and NYC trials are completed. Won't surprise to see the likes of BMM, Brown, Chisholm and co. get a good run in State Cup and then get a call up in the second half of the main game.

Wonder if Moga goes up against Lawrence or Ayshford? Will be a great battle to watch either way. Who knows Moga or Tedesco could be fighting it out for the Rookie of the year

Moga is a left centre so he should line up againest Ayshford

Also side note - due to Blair moving to left edge he will line up opposite(right edge) Glenn Stewart in Rd 2 :righton:

Sheens has done this before…..it is a trial after all...though the clubs want us to believe otherwise

That's a strong indication that tedesco will be the fullback for round 1\. Would like to see reddy on the wing with utai as utility until lote comes back. To me that seems to be a more balanced side instead of reddy or humble on the bench

interesting article about Teddy in the telegraph today. Says Sheens is thinking of starting a more experienced player in the 1, and letting Teddy find his feet slowly. doesn't want to throw him straight in the deep end which is fair enough.

also says brown will make his comeback from injury for BRET..

Reddy was fantastic vs eels, he will definitely be in the 17 vs sharks, regardless of where he plays I think he will be an asset

BTW will we be naming the team this early every week once the season kicks off?

Pretty sure teams are always named early Tuesday afternoon during regular season.

Some other teams are, but in 2011 our side was often the last to be named, usually well after 5pm.

just off the topic not sure who's home game it was last year ,is this a west tigers home game or are the roosters bringing a game to campbelltown

Tedesco must have really impressed all at Concord lately because of 2 weeks ago, Reddy was running out as our No1 in Round 1 …I love all the jockeying for spots this year....get Ready all for a massive year.

Kay , you deserved to see this year in your regular seat.
It's our year , I know you wil make it so

Presumably would have formed some sort of friendship when they both toured England/France as Australian schoolboys in 2010.

Very happy with the team picked. Looks like our round 1 team.

I would like to see Reddy picked ahead of Utai on the wing and have 4 forwards named on the bench.

Reddy could be our buy of the season. Strong defender and can find the try line.

Fulton can play in the backs if required.

My bench would read: Fulton, Bell, Groat and BMM.

Love the depth we have this year.

Let's hope Sheen's (The Fonz) picks a team on form and not his favourites.
