Official team

Team as expected

Hoping that we get a few others back , but it probably isn't worth the risk

I'm hoping that Blocker has their eyes rolling around in their heads when they run out and absolutely give it to the Roosters

Lets hope by the time our forwards are finished with them , they have an empty bench

Team as expected, but I agree with an earlier poster than Koro has far exceeded anything we have seen from Rowe so hard to understand why Nofo is not at fullback.

Yep, if we don't win, it would at least be satisfying to see the Roosters a broken rabble by the end of it.
Let em spend their TPAs on the couch in therapy.

We'll know how the team is going to fare within 10 mins of game time. Either we show it to the Roosters early and give ourselves a chance to win, or they dominate us and we get pumped.

Roosters have been far from impressive this year, many rusty games.

If we look at how the team has gone already this season, I'm sure many will share my view they've far exceeded expectations so far. Even against parra (okay, they're not premiers of the world) without farah and teddy they played with spirit and tenacity and got the win.
What I love about the tiges this year is they have heart. We doubt they'll beat the roosters, but you know what? This year they're a different beast: they might just do it.

Fact is as tigers supporters were just not used to having a team who without farah could still give it one hell of a go. Win or lose, I'm just stoked at being a tigers supporter this year.

They have dangerous centres in Dowall and Jennings and a very experienced full back. We can play them in the forwards even with their present of JWH, we may be able to match them with our forwards who have something to prove. If we can dominate them, we may have a chance, otherwise we could be torn to pieces. Yes the WT have been playing with heart this year, which is a tremnendous sign of a good football team.

Thanks ,

I was hoping potter dropped him , which would have been the right move .

Wonder what will happen when Anasta is fit .

A few reports Mitchell Moses might have found his way into the side but for the suspension.
If this is true, rather than journo's trying to fabricate a story out of nothing, I cannot see any sense in that without trialling the in NSW Cup, especially for a player like him.
Does anybody feel differently?

This.

I applaud the loyalty of some of our supporters here in their desire to see growth (I confess to being pretty cut-throat). But even Rowe's most ardent supporters will find it difficult to tolerate mediocrity for what will be 1/4 of a season. If he is again underwhelming then surely this has to be his last chance.

So come on Kurtis, pull out a big one and prove us all wrong!

If the reports are true that Moses was to play this week, is it all possible that fullback was the spot?? Rowe hasn't been bad but he hasn't exactly impressed at the back either. Now most likely Moses would've come off the bench to spell Luani with Austin in to the halves, there is that possibility he could've played fullback.

With Farah, Anasta and Fulton all out, who will captain the side? It'd be between Richards, Blair and Woods I'd imagine?

Keep hearing Richards, he'd have to be the first winger to captain a side since Warren Boland wouldn't he? Can't see it.

My vote is for Blair. He's stood up this yr, been a leader and has shut a lot of his critics up. He deserves it.

wt website says he's been killing it at state cup and tbh he wasn't all that bad last year.. he did lack impact but liam is not much of an impact player anyway.

as long as ava, taupau and akaoula are on the bench- we wont lack impact.

Of course the website says he's going well they're promoting players to promote games to fans.. He's terrible, will offer nothing working the ball down field… Am really disappointed if it's him who plays.. Would much prefer to take a punt on a Nathan brown

He has a bit of size and will get through a decent amount of work, we've got enough forwards around him who will chew up the metres in attack anyway.

I was hoping when Fulton was ruled out that Patterson would have started and Robbie would of been put on the bench. With Buchanan coming in who will replace Luani when he comes off?
