Thinking back to the after first STG game potter did same thing .. kept the same team bar injuries and said restore our pride..I reckon we will get a much different result than against the cows..guaranteed

I might have played park footy but the only time I've been in a side that has gotten flogged by sixty is when we had no reserves and started the game with 11 players. Yep, it was for Berala Bears with Trevor Cogger as coach - he simply said keep the line and if they run around us what can we do? Still we ended up scoring two tries and made the opposition look like mugs since we were two down. We played with heart which is what these so-called A Grader's lack. BTW, at the time I was hobbling around on one leg since I was getting over a spiral fracture to the fibula but I had the boots on.

Has Mick Potter said anything about the second tier salary cap? Has he been voicing his frustration at the situation the club is in due to this restriction? Mick comes across as a nice bloke always in control of his emotions etc… But he has claims to whinge sometimes to the NRL. But we never hear anything from him

Ive been told by someone close to the club that we havent exhausted our 2nd tier cap and Potter is free to pick anyone he likes. Now i have no idea if thats true. Has thete been official confirmation from the club that we have used all our 2nd tier cap?

I had read in one of the major papers that we had exhausted our second tier cap. Given Potter has resorted to playing the likes of Patterson in the centres, I have no reason to doubt it.

Re. exhausting the 2nd tier cap. Would the nrl allow us to break this given that technically we're still a chance to make the finals?

I thought that was the reason we were allowed to play brown & brooks last year because we were well out of the running.
