Just had some bad rumours confirmed by a very good source 😱pen_mouth:

The first is of a personal nature so i won't describe the nature of the rumour as it could be slanderous. Needless to say, it has upset the core of the team, but it is pure speculation as to whether this is the cause of the turmoil of simply the straw that broke the camel's back. Sorry for not elaborating, but the circumstances are not relevant unlike the effect it seems to have had on the team.

The second is merely confirmation of a cleanout, the beginning which we have already seen. Familiar names have come up so it appears only a matter of time to see who else leaves. The only question is will Humphries blame the other teams or accept some responsibility himself?

The third is interesting though. The players are sick of Sheens and want him to go. Sacrificing players to save his own hide has presumably ruined what was left of team harmony. The quickness of the drama relative to the Penrith near- signing of Sheens speaks volumes. Did Sheens demand more control over the playing roster with the threat to take up the Penrith offer? Sorry but i don't know any rumours to that effect. We could have swapped him for Georgallis and saved a stack of cash in the process. Look at the revival of Penrith under Georgallis. Oh how we would love to see a Tigers revival. Oh what could have been. 😢

this is the worst thread ever, it has finally made me actually post myself.
the fact that you dont describe the cause of the turmoil at all, the fact you give your opinion on the coach as fact and the fact your telling us about a clean out that has already happened.

What disturbed me was that the first rumour i heard for the first time yesterday by a Roosters fan was confirmed independently by my source without prompting, and the rumour was exactly the same from two totally unrelated sources. The player unrest relating to the 2nd and 3rd were confirmed by my source and player respect for the coach has fallen off a cliff. Telling players they're wanted only to tell them shortly after signing that they are not tends to do that :unamused:

Sorry, that's up to the administrators. Personally, i think they would prefer my restraint rather than incrimination of players and well-meaning supporters.

Let me put it this way - i hope the first is not true. I'll gladly be proven wrong but mate, it's already out there. You will hear it eventually. I don't want to make it worse on the off chance it's wrong, but i seriously doubt it.

I thought it was of value to confirm what is largely just the thoughts of a bunch of supporters thinking out loud.

Thats right.The only rumors that have been confirmed are that Gibbs, Payten, Macca, Fifita and Moltzen are leaving at seasons end.

I'm guessing this "first rumour" is a rehash of the "relationship" issues that were proven to be false earlier in the year. But anyway to boil this down - someone who you won't reveal said:

1\. Something you can't disclose is upsetting everyone
2\. Players don't like their mates leaving the club
3\. Players don't like Tim Sheens

I just don't know where they find time to watch any games what with their constant meeting with sources, waiting for hot mail to be delivered, and scanning of every NRL related twitter.
