Total respect. You achieved a lot.
Guess we’ll never know re the charge. As fun as it was debating this with my mate @Kelce68 it is disappointing that there wasn’t any clear images to ensure whether or not the WTs and Olam were let down by the Judiciary ruling. Other teams seem to get a frame by frame break down that they can use for evidence but once again the tigers get a quick replay from two angles and that’s that.
Hopefully he can get sorted medically and in the time off work on squaring up more in a tackle rather then leading into contact like a missile. Whilst it makes a good spectacle the margin of error is far greater and I’m sure we’d all agree he would last a lot longer in the game if he didn’t treat his body like a block of granite. Of the tackle you got a sense that Olam was surprised of the reaction and may of been of the belief he didn’t make illegal contact, though it was clear as day that he did eventually follow through with a close-line at the neckline but it was still the first point of contact that could of been contested for the grading of the charge.

Good to hear it; bit more than me so respect to that. At the end of the day we are debating over a limited set of photos provided from the incident. So it is all about perspective no matter whose right or wrong it’s the opinion of the individual.

I think one of the advantages to accepting the full 'no contest' is that he gets a clean slate in '25.
Can’t believe we folded and took the soft road , they had a chance to take on the system, and it wouldn’t have hurt us either way but the CEO who every one thinks is great rolled over , the club is as week as water
It's really cooooool that Olam is having surgery soon, but why wasn't Olam's charge challenged, just to let the NRL know 1. We don't agree with the sendoff and 2. subsequent 4 weeks suspension and 3. WT are 👀watching you [NRL] to make sure there are no more 💩'y decisions against Us from now on.

He hit him in the head...he is going to get something. Getting the charge downgraded is the right approach to show they went in on the club too hard.
U make no sense, he got 4 weeks , if we had gone in and failed he still got 4 weeks, but they could have , called out how in the same round two other players who had similar charges got of with fines .

Nth Qld coach has confirmed there was NO HIA test on for Luki as a result of the incident despite the suggested “direct contact to the head with force”

Yeah I think you could be right. I found this from an article a few years back which suggests it is part of how a "no contest" works. Would explain the change of our stance and would be a smart move.
