Oliver Clark

This Clarke bloke had massive wraps on him as a junior coming through…came through the same time as Twal, Felise, Tatola etc I think

I'm only guessing he was stuck behind a few quality props at panfers

So do people who've seen him play think he's more of an aggressive hard runner or a workhorse?

He's not aggressive. From his form this season he's more of a soft, sluggish work horse .

Think of a less impressive version of Eisenhuth.

Well seems nothing to get excited about by the reviews

Ouch BB - that's not a particularly kind way to describe a footballer!

Don't get me wrong, i wish him well and hopefully the 3 or 4 times I saw him this year he had a niggle or other factors impacting him.

He certainly has an impressive junior rep history. I can't say I saw him play back then so I've got no idea what his style of play was.

Ivan must have seen something though to offer a long term contract.

Hopefully he comes out and rips in on Sunday!

only 21 and a ton of time to gauge his attitude.

Fwds usually get better mid to late 20s anyway.

Welcome abourd

27-28 are usually front row peak years. Though being aggressive should be from a young are. Eg tevita pabgai Jr and viviame kikau.. We don't need more plodders.

It would be interesting to see Twal's stat when he was playing ISP. I seem to recall many people saying the same things about Twal when he came across from Parra

Twal was still averaging well over 100m a match, and making a ton of tackles without missing many. Clark was averaging about 60-70m a game which is underwhelming and falling off tackles.

Cleary and our recruitment guys pick up a dud then, I guess!
Doom and gloom.

I would say he is far to young to be written off as a plodder.Wait and see how he goes over the next few seasons before you consign a young front row forward to the scrapheap.
If he was mid 20s and doing squat fair enough
