I dont consider Liverpool "our own Territory". The fact that Dundas Shamrocks are Balmain Juniors and up the road from Bankwest doesnt make Bankwest in our territory.

In the 90's and 00's I was consulting to Canterbury LEagues (and Balmain Leagues) at the time an they were gong to build their big COE and stadium at the Whitlam Centre back then. Liverpool is Bulldogs territory.

Exactly - Dogs trying to move there since the 90's says it all

They had the foresight to see the potential of a development out there which is something sadly missing on this forum

share Liverpool with the dogs
or
share bankwest with Parramatta
Parramatta is much more desirable destination than Liverpool
we are better taking the SFS with Roosters

With respect you have no idea

oh ok then sorry and you do ..

Thank you

Then why don't they look after the junior teams there if I remember rightly there were a lot of dodgy dealings going on back then even the council building "burnt" down and the ground it stood on was going to be part of the OASIS DEVELOPMENT

The vast majority of Junior clubs in Liverpool are Canterbury Juniors.

The Oasis development and everything involved in it was killed off when pokie taxes were extended to licensed clubs.

Liverpool will the swallowed up by the dogs, dumb choice if we go there

lol, so the plan is we drop Campbelltown to get into Liverpool? Liverpool is our Canberra. Built because Sydney and Melbourne didn't want each other to be the capital.

we are dead as a club then
meanwhile ANZ will vacant

good timing the club put out a survey to members yesterday via email
let the club no what you think about a Liverpool move in the survey

So where should we play the majority of our games?

you still think Liverpool is the answer?

We should be playing in a purpose built state of the art facility anywhere bar Paddjngton or Parramatta. Those of us who have been around to see the 70,80 & 90 going to a game was an experience of substandard facilities
jump forward 30 years going to a game is an Event people want and demand the best as I've said before the past is history and was great we all now have to embrace the future with what it's going to provide

Question.

Whould u give up Cambo, LO, ANZ Etc for a Bankwest style stadium that settles us once and for all????

not if we share it with a cast of thousands or. its a compromise location (Liverpool)

Where would you want it?

Honestly, Cambo upgrade. someone needs to support the region. I have a Leichhardt membership so would love games there, no better place to watch the game. (would far prefer a Leichhardt up grade, but thats never going to happen)

We will probably end up at the new SFS though and miss out on a stadium.

Liverpool is so far removed from anything we are about, dogs would claim it and we end up another sidelined team again. just like Bankwest (and SFS upgrade)

Liverpool is in one of our catchment areas though. I always thought a move to Campo would eventually happen but I don't know if the support is there, The Magpies have even left the area.

I always thought it was Bulldogs?

It is definitely Bulldogs territory.

It's definitely not. We have multiple junior clubs in Liverpool that are providing a number of our Flegg players (Mavoni Tuifua, Felix Smith etc.)

ANZ. LO. CSS.

It's super simple.

Wests have no identity or connection to any one community so its easy to attach their name on any stadium proposals and increase the usage % and therefore the likelihood of approval.

It's so short sighted and typical of this club ( and some fans).

Stick strong with a neutral at ANZ. CSS. LO.

Or the government can save some $$$$, redevelop CSS and the doggies can share that with wests. Do you think the dogs would agree to that? If not, why? apply that same logic to wests and this.
