Sydney olympic park does seem to be the best option for me, i would encourage it, it seems to be the best viable home ground between LO and Campbeltown.

I dont consider Liverpool "our own Territory". The fact that Dundas Shamrocks are Balmain Juniors and up the road from Bankwest doesnt make Bankwest in our territory.

In the 90's and 00's I was consulting to Canterbury LEagues (and Balmain Leagues) at the time an they were gong to build their big COE and stadium at the Whitlam Centre back then. Liverpool is Bulldogs territory.

It's super simple.

Wests have no identity or connection to any one community so its easy to attach their name on any stadium proposals and increase the usage % and therefore the likelihood of approval.

It's so short sighted and typical of this club ( and some fans).

Stick strong with a neutral at ANZ. CSS. LO.

Or the government can save some $$$$, redevelop CSS and the doggies can share that with wests. Do you think the dogs would agree to that? If not, why? apply that same logic to wests and this.

Anz will be the oldest and most outdated stadium and is not fit for purpose.

Club has been shafted again here. It makes no sense to spend money on a one club one code stadium in Penrith.

If V'Landys is happy to ask the WT to share with the Bulldogs at Liverpool why not ask Penrith to share Bankwest with Parra.

And not a coin proposed to be spent on Leichhardt.

I have still yet to hear a cohesive argument against a proper upgrade of ANZ stadium to a rectangular ground similar in specifications to the new SFS but with a bigger capacity.

Being right in WT heartlands it would be the obvious answer for us but it seems we're being bullied into accepting an inferior option again.

It seems to me that the NRL are desperate to get rid of our club.

Why not get a fighting fund to raise money for a leichardt oval upgrade ? OK, I know the parking is bad, but parking stations and bus transfers could be arranged, as happens at suncorp.
The club is situated at Ashfield, and the oval is central to most supporters, it is our home. We have given in too easily, do we really need the state gvt ? Get some big companies to chip in for naming rights etc.

Maybe a pipe dream, but has the club fought hard enough?

It's definitely not. We have multiple junior clubs in Liverpool that are providing a number of our Flegg players (Mavoni Tuifua, Felix Smith etc.)

The juniors mean nothing. It’s Bulldogs territory.

We are not a Liverpool based club. Liverpool would be a disaster.

The Liverpool CBD area offered is not big enough and would only fit a 15K stadium. The Badgerys Creek area, preferred by the state government, is were you could build a 30-45K stadium but is not were the NRL or the Bulldogs want to build.

I’d say there’s a few folks on here that live in the Liverpool corridor just pushing there agendas ..
Liverpool ain’t going to happen .

They had the foresight to see the potential of a development out there which is something sadly missing on this forum

As I said earlier, I was involved as a consultant. It was all about **LEAGUES** Club (not football) $$$$$$$$$. Nothing else. If it was about football it still would have gone ahead.

Yeah, and although there were some structural issues in need of remedial works at the SFS, if Alan Jones and the SCG Trust political heavies hadn't gotten their grossly unnecessary amount of funds, I would have been all for the Olympic stadium revamp.
