yes, split! Western Suburbs can go one way, Balmain Tigers the other.

Wests Tigers will be an independent entity, and remain in the NRL, while the other two would navigate life in the second tier, or the nether.

The NRL won’t be going back to either foundation club as stand alone clubs in the NRL. The supporter base is now predominantly tied to Wests Tigers.

Neither club run their own senior or development teams. They’re sucking off the teet of the NRL club.

In contrast, Norths have been doing it if their own bat for a long time now, and it’s taken them 26 years and a shift to the other side of the continent to get back into the big time.

They’ll have 4 seasons to put it together. A lot can be achieved in that time.

🙄Having both emblems on the jersey is equally respectful to the Magpies and Tigers, so calling the look "trash" feels a bit over the top.

Adding the Western Suburbs Magpie emblem to the chest is only a fairly minor visual change kid wise and I reckon they will take to it easily and the team is still Wests Tigers.
Maybe the jersey designers could even add an artistic chain linking the two emblems.

The last 50 years, the next 50 years.
You can't charge into the future by pretending the past didn't happen.

We have both emblems. On the neck of the jersey. Wests Tigers is a standalone club and their logo is on the front. Stop this nonsense.
