Opposition tries just before half time

:deadhorse: I need therapy. I have lost count a long time ago about how many times we let a try in just prior to half time. It’s killing me. Doesnt matter how we are traveling ,during any match we forever seem to invite a try in the last minutes of the first half.Am I imagining this or is this the case? HELP

Hard to be too critical of Marsters mistake. He has been one of our best players this season. One of the few players that looks threatening in attack.

He didn’t even need to jump for it , all he has to do was take a step back as he had time !
The hero play down the short side where he got bundled into touch was dumb.

Agree, but he has now got an attitude that he must offload at all costs, and it costing us. Coach needs to get in his ears to be more selective. We cannot afford 1 or 2 errors every game.

Thats our problem at the moment - we have a team filled with players who are very good in ISP but just don't cut it for 80mins in NRL.

Clear that Fonua is a better centre than winger - he doesn't need to catch bombs and takes the 2nd hitup post kick rather than the first. His errors seem to come mostly from kick defence and first-run hitups; much more effective 1-in from touch.

That's the point where the starting middle forwards have usually been taken off, so you've got your bench players defending. That's when a team's depth is properly tested.
