Smith and Slater were outstanding in the second half while Pearce and Maloney crumbled. The refs were diabolical but Qld got plenty of dud calls to so the Blues can't really use the refs as a excuse.

It's amazing how a couple of champions can beat a very good football team year after year

pearce proves yet again he isnt up for it. just not good enough at this level…refs didnt help with some extremely soft penalties......but ddamn a good half wins u that game.
