Origin 111 *Live thread..

No I don't!

The bar of bad sportsmanship was set by the QLD fans last night.

The NSW captain got to the microphone to thank QLD for the game and to say they were the better side etc. etc.

All he got was booed.

Typical, Typical. Would have expected no less.

Lol what a miserable sook you are Russell. Ever been to a live game of football chump? Same thing happens to QLD captains in Sydney.
"I don't think it was very nice" :roll
That is the most soft hearted thing I've ever read on this forum hahaha my god man get a grip!

Just reading this thread now as was at the game.

Some of the comments :roll

Yes there were a string of penalties early on but as others have said they were mostly from stupid play with players like Woods and Scott trying to be enforcers rather than just playing good football.

Was one of the most one sided outstanding Origin performances and really exposed the weaknesses in the NSW approach.

Teflon Fulton should have a bit more attention come his way, he and Daley are far too focused on upsetting QLD rather than just building the best NSW team they can build and let the results take care of themselves.

The spine was selected for all the wrong reasons.
Gould was right on Gallen, so obvious live that he is well and truly past it.
Hopoate is not a loyalty selection it is a stupid selection.
Hoffman - see Gallen.
Klemmer needed someone to pull his head in not to take the leash off. He has too much talent to just be a thug.
Woods is a worker not an enforcer, also needed to pull his head in.

Anyhow like the Tigers nothing will change, this time that suits me just fine.

Bring on next year.

Woodsie doesn't have much to look forward to for the rest of the yr does he. Back to mediocrity you go son.

Spending the $90.000 he got from Playing Origin is something to look forward too.

He could give me half of that and I'd be very happy  Would more than make up for having to watch WT go around this season.

JT is a legend and The Puppet Master, Cooper Cronk was back to his best.

QLD were on a mission and they did not miss a beat.

Will Chambers have a great series as well as Corey Parker. Two unsung heros.

You have to give credit where credit is due.

Oh please, would a Sydney crowd have reacted any more respectfully to Smith?

Scraping the barrel Russel.

Each action on it's merits.
I don't think it was very nice. I f the Sydney crowd do it to QLD in future I would think the same.

What has the barrel got to do with it? They did or they didn't. It is a comment.

My opinion. You obviously like that type of thing. I don't.

NSW started this type of behavior with booing Wally Lewis in these types of situations.

Gallen has openly stated his hatred of QLD.

Fair game, to see it as anything less is soft.

But i dont think youre even looking for respect for Gallen, more like just something to complain about because your team got absolutely slaughtered and you dont know how to deal with that.

Fans dont have a good record at showing respect for the opposition at SOO. No doubt what ever Gal copped at Suncorp, Smith would have copped at ANZ. Not a position for the faint hearted.

Spot on Telltails. That's just how it is. :supporter:
