Teddy should be forgotten as an origin player… the game has past him… the amount of times he hogged the ball was disgusting… well played Qld but if Freddy wasn’t coaching it would have been a white wash.

TPJ was alright, did better than I thought. Frizzell was our best but the Luai, Crichton, Martin, To'o edge wasn't bad either. Turbo, teddy, JAC and Cleary looked like they didn't wanna be there. Awful. Hudson Young was a liability.

I thought Carrigan would get MoM. Cotter was immense in defence but I thought Carrigan contributed very well.

The big difference was that Qd went in to each tackle trying to hit and play the ball and absorbing contact whereas NSW tried to bash them into submission. In attack, NSW kept trying to break the line with 1-out runs. Horrible game plan.

As Joey said, looks like we got another year of QLD spirit BS now..

Well that was not worth having a sicky tonight! Teddy looks so average at the moment. I look at the fullbacks that were mentioned on here for us to go after and I’m glad we didn’t chase them and have bleed bula. Definitely not on the level of the top fullbacks yet but would much prefer him then how teddy has been and played tonight. (Not that we had a chance getting teddy back). We were constantly coming to to’os side and chrichton not sure what that was about but it didn’t work. Liam Martin is a weapon. The fox was well below average his defence is terrible, turbo is still no where near 100%, can’t take a player like hynes on the bench was a wasted spot. You either start him or dont take him in my opinion. Queensland just no how to win which is something NSW don’t know how to do

He falls into the same trap a lot of NSW people do.
It is assumed Club form will translate to Origin form.
QLD prove regularly it takes more than that. Benny Hunt and Dane Gagai are examples. Stars at club level, superstars at origin.
I reckon club form can be replicated at Test level but Origin is different.

It was a very good win but not a great game. Far too many penalties and errors…and the refs were atrocious.
