Live Game Discussion
2 key thoughts about Blues last night:
1. Crichton/Lomax combo is great. Should be together game 2. Two best on field.
2. Haas played the best he's ever played once Leniu came on the field. They are a one-two punch combo Madge has to persist with. Jake is awful. I'd bring Junior Paulo on for game 2 in place of Hudson Young. No idea why he got picked and did so little

Yeah, Api for game 2 but Latrine should have been in this game and been the send off, would have been a reason for me me to hate the scum bag more than I already do.
Begrudgingly, I thought Robson played well, but Api should be 14 next start. The Blues need his creativity once the game settles into a rhythm.

He could have kicked more and ran straighter but I think he looked pretty dangerous last night. Teddy and Nicho stifled the attack. Teddy ran in circles to an edge and Nicho was slow and flat-footed, passing to stationary forwards and putting in rubbish nothing kicks
Some of Nicho's short balls were under-14's hospital-pass grade.

His decision making was awful.

I kept on screaming at the TV last night. The worst thing I kept on saying, why does Robson keep on passing to Nicho on last tackle! It made no sense, his bombs were so similar and unthreatening. Luai's kicks caused errors, set up a try and forced a dropout early in the second half

That Spencer Leniu looks like a lose cannon. Plenty of aggression (which you want in a forward) but control is the key. May come with age and experience.

Agree on Jake, but Paulo is done. His form for the Eels is nowhere this year.

Angus is going so well that you could perceivably play him in the middle, ditto for Martin, but Haas needs a starting forward partner that will hold up his end of the bargain.

When Klein said "off" Jurbo thought he was being asked to take his pants off. Surprised, he questions Klein. "Off?!" He says out loud 😂

Hahahaha you a whining a lot about refs lately.
Is every side you support cheated?
All my moaning to date has mainly been off field officials MRC etc
Only other ref moan was Badger binning Klemmer for dissent when after hearing what he actually said I thought an overreaction as did NRL 360 with and extremely rare time they supported Wests Tigers.Remember she was having a bad day with numerous successful captains challenges .
Admit that being there live you don't see how bad Suaalii tackle was
After seeing on TV I think the send off warranted .This I seen just last hour
So a send off in 8th min costs game but maybe warranted .For that I apologise
Doesn't change fact that Klein didn't enforce 10m or is that an origin rule
Main beef is about Wests Tigers and the MRC / JUDICIARY don't really care about NSW only care about WT who I think are in serious trouble for multiple reasons
Even with this I've repeatedly used the term "slightly harsh " but you don't even think the mrc and judiciary have even been SLIGHTLY harsh .That's your opinion and I have mine .
We are not a club that gets many breaks as Val Holmes /Tom Deardon did

Jurbo’s reaction showed his level of IQ. Whether you agree with the send off or not, it was obvious that’s what the outcome was going to be. Especially when Klein told them not to say anything before he gave him his explanation. And Jurbo reacted like there was no possible way that that was going to be the end result.

Comment this morning about Luais continual dancing and sideways movement stifling the Blues attack( didn’t we offload a winger for that crime - when he turned up ). Will be interesting if he gets another shot in Game 2 and I’m trying to guess what that will mean for us moving forward ?

Maybe that’s explains why he was benched for most of the game

Complete bullshit. There was no way that was a send off. 10 in the bin for the accidental high, its a footy game, shit happens. Walsh was slipping, Sua' was looking away with zero intent of belting him in the head rather a team booster Goldberg'like spear tackle under the ribs. Its bloody footy not netball!! Instead the dickhead Klein, worst ref since the Grasshopper completely stuffs the game inside 8 mins.
This kind of thing really pisses me off when there is really no intent and the player slips, falls or turns in a tackle.

It's just like the crusher tackles when the player turns and puts themselves in that dangerous situation and the the defender can't really do anything about it other than cop a penalty and go on report.

Just an extension of our current nanny state where no one takes responsibility for their own actions or for putting themselves in dangerous situations, it's always someone else's fault.

I know that you have to draw the line somewhere but it has always been a contact sport and I can't believe how they constantly keep coming up with new rules and infringements to soften the game up.

Regardless of the result -worth buying a ticket so I didn't have to listen to the Channel 9 troglodytes.
Wasn't worth it at all. I'm glad we got free tickets, otherwise I would have been so pissed. The game was over a few mins in. Some guys in our row left about 20 mins. You can immediately feel the lack of atmosphere throughout the whole stadium. The game was ruined by then...

If you've ever heard him speak on any subject it's obvious that he's extremely lucky to be blessed with the ability to play NRL. His head is a vacuum.
That's the man the idiot chose to captain the state, well for 29 minutes anyway.
