Origin selection discussion thread

Listening to Fox just sums up the attitude of the League community the power brokers and the people who run the game. I like Wizz, and i know he is a Kiwiw but listening to him opitimises why NSW have lost in a row. Talking about Heino being considered he says well who do you leave out, Lewis, Watmough or Bird…well the first one would be the one who is not actually a natrual 13 or just how about ALL OF THEM AS THEY HAVE BEEN IN THE SIDE WHEN WE HAVE LOST 5 IN A ROW!!!

Personally i've had a gut full . I'm sick to death that our boys are overlooked year in year out , and this goes way back for me being an old Magpie supporter .I just hope Ennis gets smashed :imp:
 
I haven't seen too much of Jason King of late but he has never really impressed me. Jennings will score points. Gordon is a great kicker and surprisingly strong. Barrett is there to help in the development of Pearce. Has Bird done enough to warrant a spot? What has Learoyd Lars done to keep his spot?
 
Yet again a ridiculous side that has no chance. Looking through that side, there are really only 4 players who warrant being there (Pearce, Bird, Watmough, Jennings). The rest are clearly not the best in their positions.

Remember when we were a side that was always running in the bottom 4, around 7 years ago. Regardless of how well a Skandalis or Galea were playing, it was always said ladder position comes into consideration?

Here's a fun fact, there are more players from the bottom 4 sides than there are the top 4.

I have no interest in this dated concept anymore. The days of the best 17 players being picked are gone and these days, the concept is kept alive mainly for people who lack the concentration to follow a 26 week long comp, but still wanna watch 'the footy'. Won't be cheering for QLD and I don't even care if NSW lose like I've wanted them to for the last few seasons. No lesson will be learnt, nothing will be done even if we lose by 50.
 
Im glad our players where overlooked for a game 3 dead rubber.
2011 will be different Farah,Lawernce,Heighnington ,Galloway will all be selected next year
This friday night will be our chance to stick it up the NSW selectors & next wednsday when its 3 zip i for one will be laughing

I am glad that we don't have players on one hand because I hope they get belted.

But I just hope it doesn't have a negative effect. Look at a guy like Heighno who has had his best season ever and cannot get a single look in for a rep jersey. Pathetic

answer: UH Maybe the guy who has been playing 5/8 all year?

seriously, i swear sheens has some say in this with his out of position selections
 
after watching the eels game against the broncos again, why is hayne an automatic selection when his form is so bad at the moment?

this is probably just me being bitter that out inform heighno and lawrence didnt get picked.

Why? Beacause he backed away? His form other than that was impressive. The blues looked great with him and Lewis hitting the edges.
