Positive:

Liddle was excellent gets out if dummy half and a crisp passing game, defensive technique is first class. I’m not concerned about hooker if he can stay out of the injury ward.

Aloai was massive he’s our best forward. Has been all year.

BJ Leilua is a strike centre and one of the few bonafide first graders we have.

Luciano has clearly been an improvement over Matterson on a better cap number he delivers every week.

Nofa is a beast.

Brooks stepped up and delivered under pressure.
His overall game was solid but not spectacular has to lift.

Negative:
Douihei is not returning the ball and seems to not want collision. Missed Benji close to the line for an easy try due to lack of confidence.

Packer was poor defensively as was Eisenhuth they have no lateral movement and get caught out in the middle.

Talau has to get longer studs or not play BankWest games he ran with no confidence and slipped over on numerous occasions.
We need a new bench I don’t rate Reynolds, ET, Seyfarth should not be in the first team.

Garner gets overpowered way too easily defensively has to add muscle.

Madge has to upgrade the roster we just battle to beat any team and can’t sustain performances over 80 minutes.

Is Brooks a 5/8? A half? A hooker? I read to convert to a centre..?? If he is part of the spine, he needs to be a strong link. Period. When was the last time we spoke about his game reading ability? Or his taking a game by the scruff of the neck? Or even steering the team across the park for an entire game (let alone a season).

ET is gone. Seyfarth is a CC player for the next couple of years. Packer, Reynolds and Mbye need to be shopped around.

McIntyre, Garner and Eisenhuth are depth players that should be looked at for the 21 when there are injuries.

Leila, J had a shocker. For example, the last Canterbury try came from him failing to lock up the ball in a tackle. He is huge and lazy. His brother is tireless.
