Seyfarth is not scaring anyone, let him go. Same with ET.

I’d love to know what’s gone on with Blore. I saw so much potential in him.

I agree, he has plenty of supporters today, but I seen him make some real bad mistakes, I am with you, but he should have quite a few friends with him walking out the door

Since people keep asking about blore, he was dropped for disciplinary reasons. Not form related at all, will be back next week

He’s in the top echelon of plodders

Liddle was impressive I thought but the question was never really talent, rather his durability. If, and it's a huge if, he can stay healthy - between he and Simpkins I think we're ok at hooker going forward.

We can't roll with Packer and Eisenhuth on at the same time. We need McIntyre on at the same time as either of them because the minute there's a quick play the ball or someone has footwork at the line, they're both no chance at making a tackle.

Seyfarth still isn't close to first grade standard. Ok defensively but literally 0 going forward. At least Clark is a great defender despite being useless in attack. ET shouldn't be there either but whatever, we know he's gone anyway come the end of the year. I'm assuming Blore was disciplined for something and will be coming back in soon.

Aloiai is a boss, Luciano was good. Doueihi's clearly playing hurt or with something holding him back because his lack of pace is tragic. Nofa good, Joey underutilised.

Garner's defence isn't good enough, Benji's running on the last of his fumes, Brooks is a nothing player while Talau and Mbye as a pairing are passable but not much more at this stage.

It wasn't the worst performance we've put in but it was the worst win we've had for a couple years I'd say. Just not impressive in any respect.

No it’s not.Douehi strolls to the advantage line. He is not any kind of fullback . Brooks had no confidence. Packer couldn’t intimidate a budgie. The commentators were laughing at our pathetic effort .

After that game from Doueihi he has to be one of 3 things
Un fit
Injured
Or no fullback
I agree with his strolls back
I could walk back faster

After that game getting Addo-Carr for fullback may not be a bad option
There is no reason he couldn't be moved to wing if that didn't work out
I think Doueihi has alot to offer our team though
Wether its at centre or in the halves I am not sure
He made some great catches at fullback and held the ball while getting smashed
But I have never seen a fullback run the ball back as slow as Doueihi
Something is not right

He’s saving himself for the semis ....

I agree, don't re-sign Benji, see if there is any interest for Brooks elsewhere, put Doueihi at 6, I would do that this week, maybe try him with Brooks this week, then Madden after that, we need to plan ahead because Brooks and Benji are crap together

I guess Madge is setting the standard and continuing to build the culture we need. I wanted him there today but hopefully it's for the greater good.

My Take:
Positives -
* Aloiai killed it out there and went he went off the go forward went backwards.
* Moses Mbye was very active today and looked to get his hands on the ball more (plus 4 from 5 kicking)
* Liddle - first game back did a great job and looked dangerous when running. (93m and 44 Tackles)
* Nofo - Gee wiz I know his defence is not the best but he gives his all and runs like his life depends on it
* Josh reynolds - didn't kill it BUT the team clearly lifted when he come on.
* I know people are bagging him but AD was great under the high ball, got involved (over 200m) , Threw some nice passes (just he lack of speed on kick returns let him down for me but that could be injury)

Negitives -

* Packer was caught out a lot in defence and looks exhausted -
* Teams attitude when we get the lead
* Our attacking kicks land was too short (always around the 20-30m mark instead of around 0-10)
* we really lacked a big bench that can take over from Aloiai when he comes off.

Overall happy to get the 2 points but we are in big trouble this week V roosters, they will put 60 on us with that defence.
Our defence looked excellent about 5-6 weeks ago and all of a sudden we look like the broncos 2nd half defence (shit).

For me I would make a few changes to next weeks team
Benji replaced by Mbye in 6
Brooks back to 7
Reynolds stays at 14
Talau centre
AJ onto wing
Blore, Makalae, JR, Sam Mac

Also good to see Moses a little vocal out there today.... Still not enough but its something

Great to hear, thanks.

We didn't deserve to win...we led 22-6...and they leveled...yes, i'm glad we won, obviously, but surely...leveling at 22-6?!

Packer and LL Cool J seem to be 20 minute players. I can't wait until Packers contract is up.

Lucy is an opening 20 specialist. Goes missing after that. That’s why he’d be better off the bench.

He's taken a step this year and I expect him to take another next year. I don't like our attacking structures much though, most players on the edge don't seem to get a heap of ball.

Agree with you both. Douhei must be carrying a couple of injuries because he doesn't try to tackle when he's the last defender, he always tries to shoulder charge. It's bizarre.

Also, I don't see BJ being long for us. It hasn't worked so far and I just don't see him being a Maguire player.

WESTS TIGERS .....

THE TEAM THAT MAKES VERY POOR TEAMS LOOK LIKE WORLD BEATERS.....

lucky they won after the lead they had and then went to sleep AGAIN....

Good that Brooks was the one who kicked the field goal. That should shut a few up for a week or two.

But it won't. He also saved a try, set up a try. And played well. He hit harder in defence than JL and DN.

You must be related to him... he played hopeless except for kicking the field goal.
You can’t keep a place in the team every week just in case we need a field goal.

I am happy for Seyfarth. He turned up today and ran hard. He also made some hard hitting tackle. His try saver in the second half on the right where Leilua should have been was excellent. I like to see him in our 17 next year.

If you look past the dropped balls & missed tackles at crucial times, he could be a star.

Set up a try, saved a try, defended well, kicked well and kicked the field goal. I wish his teammates could be so hopeless.

Ive said it before JR compliments Brooks game ....but we persevere with the club legend stifling Brooks game...

pretty much

the only other thing is it's pretty clear, we need halves............and ones with good kicking games

Well, we could have gone after Blake Green, but everyone said he was rubbish.
