Our 2023 GF next week?

I’ve said it before, but Sheens, Benji, and Robbie all have beef with this club over their exits. Wouldn’t it be ironic if this is their revenge - burning the place to the ground and salting the earth, and getting paid handsomely whilst doing so

The 3 names you have mentioned i would rank as most likely to least likely to do that with the last name you mentioned as very unlikely.Anyway with the "brains trust" we have running the club the only thing that will elude us for a while is being a winning club unfortunately

It wouldn't be that bad if it was only back to back spoons but I think we are on track for 3 in a row and if things don't change soon we could give Parramatta's 6 spoons in a row a pretty good nudge, Souffs have 3 in a row in the NRL era and I'm pretty sure we can equal that and most likely beat it.

We just need to put our trust in our board and management team, that they will be steadfast and will be here to steer the ship on the right course, we just need to keep the faith. 🤡
Is that you Lee?

We’ll step 1 achieved.
Tim and Benji have selected a 17 that can beat the Dragons.
Absolutely must win.

Parra won 6 in a row? What a wonderful time that must have been to experience.

Just having a look at the records, they came into the comp in 1947 which was their first spoon, then won the spoon again in 1952 and 1954.

Their 6 year wooden spoon streak went from 1956 right through to 1961.

Wooden spoons in 1970, 1972, 2012, 2013 and 2018 were just icing on the cake.

So Parramatta's earlier years were pretty bad but they still have managed to get 3 spoon during the NRL era and more importantly, they haven't won the comp since 1986 although I guess they have some bragging right for having won it 3 years in a row from 1981 to 1983 but that was a long time ago.

The way we are going at the moment I'm sure we can challenge their record for the most number of spoons, however, premierships don't appear to be something we will be achieving any time soon.
