Our Attack This Year

It's pretty god awful at the minute. Which has usually been the least of our worries.

I don't know what we practised in the off season but it looks a mess out there.

Maybe it's just a lack of fitness and conditioning. In fact I think that might be the main reason. In the 2nd half we were just out of gas, There was no talk,player on their haunches.

Ou backline plays look slow or we mess them up. Teddy is looking less effective by the week.

We always knew we were a dud defensive side. However if we keep serving up there displays in attack then the Spoon might be outs in 2017.

The best attacking play today was when Brooks involved himself in 3 tackles inside the 20 putting Taylor over virtually untouched..

The passes from Brooks to Moses are shocking in most instances not allowing Moses to run onto the ball instead having to either jump and lose momentum or too far out front which causes him to have to reach forward losing balance. I just cant find much in Brooks overall game to justify him being retained/

I've said it too often this season but we waste so many tackles in the red zone with Woods softing it up

I'd much rather Aloiai or Idris attracting 4 defenders and getting a quick play the ball

Count how many seconds it takes Woods to get up , we have nothing to play off after his hit ups

We don't run lines /angles at all well and Tedesco could kill sides if they got his angles right with his footwork and speed

What annoys me that the fans can see it and the coaches haven't a clue

Also Brooks needs to hit the line at speed firstly and then Moses straight up afterwards , Brooks usually get half decent speed play the balls

I don't think the main issue is fitness, Melbourne looked just as gassed as us. The difference with the Storm is they kept defending when they were tired.

He's getting worst at wasting time in the tackle and needs a rocket up him to wake up and be a front rower not a teddy Bear.he doesn't have to go stupid, butba bit of aggression would be a good start.

He's NOT captain material…. Watch every toss of the coin he has and I don't see a game face on him. Yeah that might be him but as an onlooker looking in they see a player not taking the game seriously. And please just say something different than we just wanna go out and 'play some footy' tag line...... Its driving me crazy!!//

He's just NOT captain material….just look at the toss of the coin win the captains. He very unprofessional at them and from someone looking on would think what's this club on? Your right the play to Kev was repeated so many time and no luck. It's because we don't set those plays up. You send a grubber or chip over the line a couple of times early which if done correctly will either get you a repeat set or the opposition start from the corner on their own line. But most importantly it forces the winger to stand deeper taking a defender out of the line. You have to set a team up for a play or you have to play whats in front of you, i don't think they are capable of determining when to put on the correct play.

Its called being professional…..if he wants to play park footy then just go do so. Last time I checked the NRL was a company.

The Tedesco sweeps that were so effective at creating overlaps last year are jut not working this year…opposition teams are virtually waiting for him in his face when he gets the ball

No strike centres is the problem. Very little options for Moses and Brooks. The 2nd rowers aren't providing much either with mostly only straight lines running onto short passes.

But whats with the kicking. Never any chasers and when they do they don't defend in a line.
Why isn't Tedesco chasing Brooks and Moses kicks like he did a couple of years ago. He is getting a bit predictable with his sweep plays. Mix it up boys.

I am well and truly over Kev. Offers nothing apart from quick hands to Noffa.

We don't have the speed with Suli and Idris but at least they may be able to barge their way over with their size and strength.

Put these two in the centres. Noffa and anyone on the other wing (Hunt, Rankin, Heleta).
