Our Big 3 were out too !

The fact of the matter is Melbourne had all week to prepare for this game without their stars. We lost Moltzen in the warm up. Moltzen (weather you like it or not ) is in red hot form at the moment. We had far more of a disadvantage than they did. Loosing Fulton and injureys during the game meant we finished on one leg. Gutsey effort.

Massive to win with a rookie with only 1 full NRL game under his belt, losing the fullback in warmup and Farah in Origin camp.

It wasnt a season defining win but it was a gritty and determined win

Who cares about there big three been out…last year they had the big 3 out also and never lost a game during the origin period.they still have a good team...The 10 degree and rainy weather didn't suit our style of play.

It must of been bellamys tactics or preparation i think.haha

We have had players out for long periods and people say no excuses.

Yes smeg i agree mate

I clicked on this thread simply to find out who our Big 3 are considering we really only have a Big 2 and 1 played last night?!

Great Win though… Very Defining for me how are defence held even when were going backwards in the last 15 minutes. Reminded me of a Semi Final recently, but we dropped that one!

Well Done Tigers... We will go close to first line of better after last night

It is funny that somehow this win does not count as Mescaleros were not complete, and when the same argument was used for Tigers (eg Tedesco, Ellis, Galloway) it has been dismissed as a weak excuse. Go figure :brick:

Yes funny that ah.

big 3: benji, farah, (woods & galloway). 2/3 aint bad.

still, players know it, they deserve more credit than whatever they will get, so will be happy with the 2 points rather than the media perspective of the win.

The problem was the way we were losing. Conceding 7 tries to the raiders at home and getting flogged by the saints with poor completions and most missed tackles in the comp. much different to the competition the storm gave us last night.

The criticism earlier this year was well warranted, but equally the current streak of wins and form can't be acclaimed and praised enough.
