The Panthers did a Tigers from the look of it.

All they had in the whole 2nd half was hit up hit up hit up BOMB….

That should work quite effectively against us.

Anyway, hopefully Luke Walsh is still out - they struggle without him.

Graham has just as mean a bomb as Walsh, don't kid yourself HT.

Hit up x 5 and bomb on the sixth is a recipe for success against us Geo.

I don't think this is our biggest game since the GF, but it's certainly right up there. That honour goes to the Game vs Parra at the end of last year.

the ACT just spent alot of cash on the referees tonight, souths and the raiders still can make the 8 the NRL is rigged and it shows right there

watch panthers fire now against us next week

Think how you'd feel if you were a Panthers supporter… We led by 10 at halftime, they led by 14\. We got beat in the 90th minute in GP on a forward pass and they didn't even score a point in the second half.

we wont win another game dont waste youre time on sunday same team same rubbish soft defence cant defuse bombs its that time of the year to fall down the giant hole we always do wehave not beat penrith in a thousand years no mongrel all year we have only be kidding ourselves with the rubbish that the tigers have dished up canberra showed more spine tonight than what we have we dont have a spine frank stanton would of tore this side a new ass ages ago.

wish we had the side that played parra last year now! We would win the comp! We had something we dont have this year Structure in attack and go forward also players in form.

Lachlan Coote didn't play against the Raiders last night and will still be in doubt to play the Tigers.

Coote doesn't worry me. Neither does Walsh being out. Their attack will still be the same no matter who fills their backline.

We needed Pritchard, Waterhouse and McKendry to all break their legs last night. We get smashed up the middle everytime by the Pamfers. Don't give them the field position to make their kicking game effective.

Yeah a big game…if we win we could be anywhere from 2nd-4th, but will be in the top 4\. It would also almost lock in a semi final spot for us, and could well be the kick start we need to get some form leading into the semis. If we lose...well de ja vue (if thats how you spell it!)

Correction, it would definitely lock in a finals spot. There is even the possbility that we could lose every game from here in on and still make the finals.

i agree with the thread title.

every season, every team has 'Must Win' games, but this is definitely different. in the context of our season, in the context of previous seasons, sh!t this is a big game.

a win and we are looking good for a top 4, a loss and we are battling to make the 8.

the comp is there for the taking, and i honestly beleieve we have as good a chance as any….......a camp away from Sydney is great timing. lets hope the boys bounce back

Yes, we need to win this one. A home crowd advantage, Sunday arvo, came off a disappointing loss, there really is no excuse to lose this game. This is the season definer, if we lose we are impostors and will be making up the numbers in the eight, if we win, I have a feeling we'll gain some momentum and start consolidating a position in the top 4.

Losing to a top four team that has the wood on us, as opposed to allowing a team hovering in and out of the eight, half full of reserve graders claw back a 16 point lead?
I think the latter says impostors more than anything this year.

They can get to our end pretty simply with their pack, completing our sets is our key…we cant give them extra ball.
Do that we might win.

The wood is stacked against us here, but the team has no other option but to turn out a solid performance.

Pritchard had a good game last night, so hopefully that will be enough for him for another 3-4 weeks. Coote is very unlikely to play and if Fulton or Gareth can put plenty of pressure on Walsh's kicking game, we are a chance. We must play this game down there end and constantly build pressure. Getting to our kick and chasing well will lay a solid platform.

Losing 2 on the trot at this time of the year is not an option…

No excuses this week - home ground advantage and a 48 hour head start on the preparation. Maybe the NRL should make the game 40 minutes - neither team knows how to play the last 40 mins
