You seem to have a lot of silly/nasty opinions for someone who doesn’t seem to know what is going on in the club?

I only know what Ive read and heard. He got a career ending injury and the tigers gave him a job. I haven’t seen him say a word in any footage i have seen of him.

Please inform me what I’m missing.

He doing his job providing stats to Madge that's what he's employed to do and sitting next to Madge in the box is the best place

McKinnon was injured in 2014, Simon was injured in 2011 and In 2012 helped out with City side but didn’t start with the WT’s until 2018 as a performance analysts, hardly think that can be called charity? Maybe jobs for the boys though?

Has he been our defence coach since 2012? Our defence has sucked for a long time, including 2005.

Not sure a new defensive coach is going to solve all of our problems, but I suppose it couldn't be any worse.

I wondered if they're all too afraid to speak or something, for some reason? They're dead quiet in there.. Either that or pretty incompetent. When Madge is directing the assistants/coaches on the ground over the radio it does mostly point to the latter though haha.

Got one of the worst injuries at his peak and never recovered.

I guess it wasn't as bad as Alex McKinnons.
It's good that the club has looked after him though.

Whether it's Sheens or Hartigan, if Madge is staying on next season they need to find suitable assistants and give them to him. Madge shouldn't have a say in this at all. He's a professional doing his job and if the organisation feel he needs stronger assistants he needs to accept this and get on with the job.

He's been handing out jobs for the boys based on past interactions. This has failed us. We need to recruit the best people available for the position, regardless of whom they do or don't have relationships with.

Defense coach actually would overlap others.
Affected by fitness regimes, playing structures, quality of player etc.
As an example, the current WT doco does not bring to light what individual coaches bring to the table, week upon week - no specifics just a label.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall as things unfolded over a week.

Perfect job for him, Simon was headed for superstardom, kid could really play, that hit on Hargreaves in the semi final should have got us into the grand final that year,,, faaarrrrrkkkk he whacked Jared into next week… IMO he deserves a job doing video, stats whatever and just becuse he is not a loud mouth big noter but instead plays his part and does his job without fuss doesn’t mean he is not good at it… I’m glad he is there, he was a loyal junior and being loyal back to guys like him builds a club spirit and tribal identity, people play for a club and a team and put their body on the line knowing that they will be looked after if things go wrong…,, all I absolutely know for sure is that Simon Dwyer is not the reason we let in 7 tries a game and look like under 8s player in attack.

To be fair Simon Dwyer does the stats, and great that the club looked after him, in the documentary it was quite clear that Madge is passionate and throws everything into it, same can't be said for the assistant coaches, a big change is required. Bring in young people that understand the NEW game and how to best work the changes during a game. Hope Sheens shakes things up.
