Our first set in golden point

What the hell happened? That set of six was an absolute disgrace.

At least three passes were thrown to the ground, we had zero structure, barely any metres gained and to top it all off a rushed kick that gave Souffs the ball in our half.

How does this happen?

I think we were mentally gone by the time it was 16-all. That set was atrocious. I guess physically we were probably stuffed as well.

We were shell shocked and we had lost it once it had gone into golden point.

no hooker doesn't help but yea there were 13 other professional footballers out there. Certainly missed Farah's brains and kick for that set.

As soon as Souths got square I knew we were gone. Dumb football got us there and the rest is history.

The last time I remember a set that bad was the Roosters semi in 2010 (I think). We made about 10 metres that time.

I agree hybrid, this set was even worse I reckon cos at least that day they were coming at us, this time they didnt have to as we were playing handball in the backline instead. You win the toss in golden point, surely your first set is already pre determined, forwards 1-2-3, hold the ball a couple of quick play the balls and then either a kick that finds grass or a drop goal attempt - hardly rocket science.

We certainly imploded spectacularly yesterday! What was worse though was watching the game on 9 and knowing how the game was going to unfold. You could tell the game was going into extra time because of the amount of time to 6pm. Then you knew there was only time for a couple of sets of 6 in . From the kickoff of extra time, it was obvious who was going to win.

Don't forget though, Souths scored a 6 pointer because 2 ref's, 2 linesmen, and the video ref missed Taylor blatently punching the ball out with two in the tackle. Don't know why the boys dropped the bundle, defence was great for 70 minutes.
Ref's are going to kill this game.

Well having Meaney in at hooker is the first problem. Humble at first-received and standing 15 metres behind the play is the second.

Throwing it to a prop having a bludge out wide is another issue. Having Heighington take any type of under-pressure hit up another concern.

Literally could not have played a worse GP set without dropping the footy.

Professionalism? Nah it's no fun!
