Our record up to round 7 What will it be ??

Was wondering what people would be happy with after 7 rounds (Round 8 is first bye)

Just for a refresher our run is

Sharks Home Win
Manly Away Loss
Saints Away Win
Raiders Home Big Win
Souths Home Loss
Broncos Home Win
Penrith Away Win

So I see us on 10 points after round 7 in equal second place

What do you think ??

I reckon sea eagles and rabbitohs could be a win for tigers just quietly. So, I agree with Snowy…undefeated on 14 points (bit optimistic I know!)

All of those games the Tigers can certainly win. The key will be how consistent they are at the start of the season. Recent seasons suggest the Tigers will be up and down, with some red hot performances thrown in with a stinker or two. The squad needs to be fit and healthy at the start of the season and the rest will hopefully take care of itself.

I'm hoping for a big change in our fortunes to the start of the season this year - an injury free, consistently played first third of the season would be nice for once. Don't fancy the pressure of having to make the late charge to get to the top 4 again. Would rather the team be well entrenched there by about round 17 if posssible. It would make for a nice change, but probably very untigerlike

I reckon we'll probably lose to dragons (away they'll be tough) and broncos (I think they quite fancy themselves against us). The rest I think we'll win so we'll be 5 from 7 heading into our 1st bye

No injuries -

6-1 - we'll drop the broncos game in a tight one.

injuries like this year -

3-4 - dragons, broncos, souths and manly.

I'll be happy with 4 wins provided we are injury free and we absolutely SMASH manly. just need to stay healthy and in the top 4, or at least in touch with them.

We have never had a early winning streak and I cant see why things will change, quite a few new players and quite a few players backing up from a very long season. The days of winning streaks are nearly over, the salary cap has pulled most clubs back to the field or up to the field. With a fair crack in the injury department we should win four or at the outside five, but of course the reverse could happen

Injury free with more wins than losses would be good. Good performance with a view to future improvement would be just great. If we win all games that would be a bonus but it is still very early.

I feel we will drop the first 2 or 3 games, then go on a winning streak. I think it will take a few games for the new combos to sort themselves out, especially HB if Miller/Humble play there.

I agree AJ, I feel we may drop a few games early. History has shown that we don't perform as well as favorites.

Using my head, I'd say we'll pick up 5/7, dropping the games against Manly and Broncos.

But I'll go with my heart and say we'll pick up all 7!

Depends how we go in the halves from the start.

If we drop any more than two games out of the first 7 I'll be spewing. We will be fielding one of the leagues best rosters, with halfback the only concern.

This is the squad Sheens has been working towards all these years. 7 current internationals (Benji, Robbie, Rowdy, Gareth, Adam, Keith and Chris) plus an ex dual international (Lote) an ex international (Utai) and 2 city reps (Fulton and Moltzen) in addition to some fantastic young up and coming props (Woods, Groat, BMM).

This isnt the year of no excuses, for this squad it is the year of justification, validation and most importantly REDEMPTION. Hit the ground running, smash everyone and show them that they were all lucky last year we were so disrupted with injuries.

Sharks Home Win - close
Manly Away Loss
Saints Away Win - close
Raiders Home Win
Souths Home Win
Broncos Home Win
Penrith Away Win(penrith always seem to bash us but we have a much bigger side now)
