Ok PLAYER XXX, simple question.

Well that was heavy, the good thing is that to create this tread Player xxx must be pretty upset, lets hope that passion is shown on the field. I agree that most of us have gone way over board and while i agree that alot has come from a passion and love from the fans for the club it doesnt help going right off our dial. If we had won 6 in a row and then lost 3 in a row all this wouldnt be the case but because its the beginning of the season and we were tipped to be fav we have gone overboard! Its true that when we win we praise and when we loose we back stab and alot of the True fans have knocked these fans so there is some unity in the fans…. Also there are alot of different type of fans, different ages, sexes and geographics all make for a variation of opinions. We can as fans band together and remember one thing, its a sport, not a life changing event that will impact our lives!!! For us fans its entertainment that if your not happy you can change the channel or watch another sport but for the players its a career that has taken them years of hard training, getting up early to go through hard training that most of us dont have the genes to even try but yet we sit in a couch with a beer and rant about being soft and not being able to run at 3 over 100 kilo giants hard enough.
I would like to see how many fans would put their bodies on the line and their long time health for sport.
Look at poor Dwyer, he put his body on the line and now might never have proper movement in his arm, and why? cause he wants to play hard for his team so that we have a good chance to win!!!
God bless!!!

Well said CQTIGER, doubt you are a player but if you are…. Seriously get your soft pussycat arse off the couch expressing your anger on a teams discussion forum and put your energy on the field, thats the only way to turn the negatives into positives pussycat...

Sheens and the players are all being paid a lot of money to get a job done, we are not talking about a small country football team that is funded by chook raffles.Okay granted all teams go through flat spots and theirs the dreaded injuries but our efforts this year have been poor and that is being kind. Maybe player xxx might heed some of the criticism thrown their way. As for Sheens, really every year its much the same, under strength bench and poorly used.Three winning streaks in all the years he has been at the club and the rest of the time we have been on struggle street. Anyway lets just hope that the players respond with a great performance on Sunday.. Yes most of us have not been involved in a pro football club but we are held responsible in the industries that we are employed in and if we under perform the risks are far greater than getting heckled by a bunch of disgruntled fans. We know the clubs got some real problems with injuries but two weeks in a row the team capitulated.

Good luck this week and all we ask for is for the team to have a real dig. Its the dig that counts not the result although a win would be great

Dear player xxx I only wish you could compose attack and defense as well as you composed your post!

I dont post too much however Wether XXX is a real player or not what he said is 100% true… When ya team is down you support them not kick them, it's now they need their fans. sure we ain't on the field but our support can help them win games we have seen it before.

Like Robbie said on NRL Fox tonight it's March.

I hope it is a player and I agree 100%

If you blokes had your stake holders publicaly lambasting you week in week out, and not just objectively commenting on your play, blokes questioning heart, commitment and in some case courage, I reckon you'd be pissed.

Everyone thinks that all these players earn huge money and their lives are paved with riches, this is not always the case, win or lose every player in the NRL has a crack not just on saturday but most of the week.

And to make matters worse, a player comes on and says that you blokes giving him a hard time (those that are) tell him to pull his head in and cop it sweet, getting offended he'd even suggest you may be doing something inapproriate, missing the irony completely.

Ive got the shits with the attitude of plenty on here, can only imagine how a player would feel, especially if the likes of forum whipping boys Moltzen, Blair and Groat if they tuned in.

Interesting first post there, however…

It is a bit rich calling people on here faceless when you yourself are..

Everytime I read "so called fan" I shake my head. So, we should be indifferent about poor performances on the field? Should we not care? Would that be better? Yes some posts do go overboard, but for people to then come on here and call those people "so-called fans" is stupid, they care about the club and want success on the field. Don't belittle their passion, if only some of the players showed that on the field then maybe there wouldn't be much to complain about....

At this stage though, I think I'm calling troll as well unless it can be confirmed somehow, but regardless, I disagree with your assessment that fans should bury their heads in the sand when things are bad and not complain when shocking performances are put in by an obviously talented side.

If only the Balmain sides under Junior had the talent we have at the moment. I'm sure the Maggie supporters would say the same.

The OP's point is valid, their identity is irrelevant.

Good families pull together in tough times. Sure, as the people who spend the money and the time being fans we are entitled to be upset, but a lot of the rubbish on this forum points to larger problems in terms of lack of solidarity. The team gets a licking and people get personal about the coach, players and the size of the magpie on the sleeve. This is petty and ridiculous.

It seems to me that the problems between Balmain and Wests, the bickering and the guttersniping of the fans and the disjointed performances on the field have a common spirit. Lack of solidarity. No doubt people from the Wests Tigers read these pages. If the overwhelming message was "our guys will do better, we believe" rather than "sack everyone, they're overpaid and useless" and "Magpies supporters feel inadequate" that very well may inspire, to some extent, better performances from administrative and playing staff. Being a fan isn't singing when you're winning, its singing when you're getting pasted. Constructive, critical debate isn't whining and moaning, its proper analysis of problems and realistic solutions.

Player xxx if you are a player you are as gutless on the field as you are off the field of late . But I'll have a guess and say is that our over paid sook hooker.. We pay our hard earned to become club members , tickets to games not mention number plates and merchandise I think we deserve a say . We don't earn the money you guys do to put in half hearted performances week in week out .

you think you have the right call him gutless??

even more so you think he is gutless…..

he is gutless cause he bagged you (not specifically) for bagging him. Your response to him bagging you was to bag him...... irony at its best.

Do you know what it takes to be a player in the NRL??

I'll tell you what goose if it comes down to it I'll post my name and address here if need be lets see if player xxx will do the same SOFT AND GUTLESS.

I can guarantee that if they ripped in and have ago nothin would be said about them

To Tiger XXX,

1) Do you think that the poor performances overall are not indicative of the team as a whole but rather highlight deficiencies within certain aspects than simply need fine tuning?

2) Did the defense try to compensate in the game vs Canberra by condensing towards the centre of the field after St George went through the middle the previous week?

3) When will we see some backline plays? Does Sheens have a theory why our centres don't seem to be as dangerous as previous seasons? Is it a structural problem or just down to lack of possession?

4) How bad is Benji's concussion?

5) How much do you guys dislike the Daily Telegraph? Which journalists are the worst? Is it embarrassing some fans act like the daily telegraph target demographic?

Personally i don't think they're soft. NRL is a tough professional competition and if your team has a couple of weak areas, they can be exploited, and once exploited the overall performance looks terrible when in fact it wasn't as bad as it appears. They can't let the errors and deficiencies go uncorrected for too long otherwise they will miss the finals, but i'm sure they know where and what they are and are trying to correct them. It won't be easy to do but they've done it before.

It has been disappointing so far.

Clearly a troll, no way a Footy player from the Tigers could write more then a sentence or two? well, at least they look that dumb on the field.
