From the outside looking in he has somewhat learnt from his mistakes but boy, he has made a few.

On the positive, he was right to sack JT. He has done well to hire Hartigan to shore up R&R. Part of his job is to make the club profitable, which he and Go did rather quickly. He has overseen the COE. Finally Wests seem to be getting a good go of it in reserves and I would hope this extends to our treatment of the area as well.

The next phase, being successful on field and making us a desirable place for better players to come is what will make or break him.
Personally they need to find a coach who has good relationships with the next gen of superstars because I'm unsure Maguire is an appealing coach to many players these days.

His main job is to ensure the club is in a good financial position. That he has done well to date.
