That was the Papalii I thought we were getting
It was but unfortunately the coaching staff wanted him to master 200 passes at training instead

That’s the Papa that Penrith are getting. That was the Papalii I thought we were getting
Hometown referee and that useless tool Bateman did their part to change the whole game - frigging cheats.England dominated Samoa to cement their place as the world's best team.
It'll be interesting to see who wins the Bowl game between Tonga and Australia to see who ranks second, remembering that England easily disposed of Tonga 3games to nil in 2023.
Ivan will prove himself to be the ultimate supercoach if he can turn Blaze Talagi into an NRL standard 6.
That was the most out of his depth performance since Justin Matamua debuted. England aimed their attack at him all night, making him make defensive decisions and he made the wrong one every time.
Awful? Played tough and showed some great skill. Was busy in defence. Got through decent minutes. Far from awful. Outplayed both starting props from England. Would be a great get.To those getting excited about signing May, he was awful.
He looks good in a Roosters pack where someone else dents the line before he has a run, but surrounded by the lazy Samoan pack he got hammered.
Yeah he was very ordinary. Herbie made a couple of them look stupid.Yep. Some of us guys on here were talking about
how bad his defence/reads are. 4 down his channel
I think? fell over & got turnstiled by Farmsworth smh
In between the stupid shite some of them do and/or say, some of them do some really good things too.Bit emotional with that win. Some of you may remember I have mentioned previously one of my boys has Down syndrome. Some may also remember my wife is Tongan. I am so happy for Tui Lolohea. A day after Tui got dropped from our Nrl team he met my son (a random meeting). He not only gave him a mountain of his time on this day but when we went to say goodbye Tui’s wife slapped his arm and said you can do better than a photo and he gave my son his Tigers jacket he had on. My son had no idea who Tui was and couldn’t care less about the jacket. I will never forget it though. He spoke to my wife about where his dad was from in Tonga and was very genuine in talking with us. Don’t get me wrong the club made the right call moving him on but I will always wish him success. Congrats Tonga, gonna be an interesting week in my household
She is a Parra fan (yep disgusting I know). I have dragged her along to a couple of Tigers games this year and she does cheer for us when we aren’t playing ParraIn between the stupid shite some of them do and/or say, some of them do some really good things too.
I will now look upon him more fondly. He wasn’t a bad player, just not quite there yet with us.
Thanks for sharing that nice story with us, good luck to you and your fam.
Is your Mrs a Tigers fan or just very supportive of her husband?
I think mine just wants us to win out of pity and to have a happy house these days. She is a Parra fan (yep disgusting I know). I have dragged her along to a couple of Tigers games this year and she does cheer for us when we aren’t playing Parra
Yeah - it should have been. Regardless of how poor the rest of the team was travelling, he never played for us with the same passion and effort that he put in to that game last night. He was great. That was the Papalii I thought we were getting
