I think the bigger success here is that JP has managed to produce a COE with limited funds. Convinced the local, stage and federal governments to chip in. That's no small feat!

If we hadn't had JP in charge the last few years, I reckon COVID would have killed us. We're one of the clubs that signalled early that we were ok due to the hard work to get our finances in order.

How this guy does not get credit for turning this club around, I do not understand. All the blokes who went before we're happy to run the club into the ground chasing short term results.

Yep . That’s why I laid both out . The original team he put in place of Cleary and that guy from the dogs , proved almost fatal . We are very lucky that Seibold knived Madge and Hartigan was looking for more responsibility. Now it’s about finally putting the pieces on the field that can really give this comp a shake .
Even Mbye not being able to catch a bomb really sux . That’s his only fault as a fullback , but it makes him unplayable there . Making his contract such an albatross . I wish cleary didn’t panic buy him. We could have held our nerve and got Meaney as was the original plan .
Not saying Meaney is as good as Mbye , just it was a more value for money decision . Even giving Reynolds the 4th year . What the hell Cleary ? We would be rid of that contract now and the Mbye deal wouldn’t even matter that much .

There is no part I am not getting. Penrith Football Club is 100% owned by Panthers Group. There are not separate boards. The Board of Panthers Group Controls the Penrith Football team and the CEO is Brian Fletcher. The CEO of the Panthers Football team is Brian Fletcher, that is why HE announced Gould was leaving last year.

I think Justin deserves credit for his involvement with our financial security, as well as marketing and communication but Marina Go's input often goes unmentioned. Her whole approach during her tenure exuded true leadership and governance. I personally thought she was more ballsy than Justin.

As Ive said repeatedly, its semantics. When Pascoe was there his job was called "Head of NRL", when Payne took over the name was changed to "CEO of Football". They are the same job and both Pascoe and Payne reported to THE CEO Brian Fletcher.

A couple of posters here stated that he had no previous experience of the job he is doing at the Tigers, BECAUSE BRIAN FLETCHER WAS THE CEO NOT PASCOE. That is clearly not true because he was doing the same job at Penrith as here.
