It's going to be tough but far from impossible beating the panthers on saturday night. I find the biggest issue for any side coming up against them is matching their effort levels. They play with a lot of enthusiam, bodies in motion and will keep asking questions of you. Especially at home too.

They don't have a lot of playmakers, Walsh is tidy and nippy. Their strength is their ball running ability. Coote, Tighe, Jennings, Walsh, Lewis, Prtichard and Waterhouse are all dangerous ball runners so defensively we'll need to be switched on , especially around the ruck. Of all the sides we've played so far, they are the ones that worry me because their style is one we've struggled with.

Ahhh finally the negativity is back… now it feels like home

please dont confuse negativity with being realistic. beating penrith at penrith in the form they are in this year is a daunting task for any team in the comp let alone wests. I think we have a chance of course - i'd be kidding myself if i didnt - but one also ought to be realistic. If we did have a full strenth team then that again would be a different story also. :sign: nah, no negativity here Kaiser, just some realism.sorry your mistaken.

Why? because he doesn't match their size and aggression.

He picks the wrong side. We need physically strong players like Davis and Pritchard. Not weaklingsi

I have been very confident of a win the last 4 weeks. We won 3.

This week the confidence is gone, not because we lost last week (because I thought we defended very well) but because for some reason Penrith always seem to beat us. I am always confident we'll beat them, and on paper we probably should, but they always come out and pull our pants down.

We always seem to save our worst for them.

I really rate Penrith and this will be our touhest game thus far in my opinion.

Lazarus is a player with great potential but must not play alongside Marshall at this stage.To much of an individual.

Wish Lui is back.Steady with a good kicking game and providing good sevice to Marshall he is really needed now that Molzen is gone.

We can win this but we need to make fewer than 8 errors.Penrith only made 6 last week and are a big powerfull side who really feed on a lot of ball.

They are also a side who can really make a lot of silly errors if they fall behind and panic.We must not let them get away to a big lead.
