Panthers offer Sheens $2m deal

He is a life member of the Panthers and I beleive he still lives in the area, I wonder if there is an attraction to finish up back at "home"?

I pray, every spare minute of my life, to God, to Jesus, to Allah, to Buddha, to the Olympic Pantheon, to Jehova, to Yahweh to the Hindu god whatever his name is ; I pray, I pray at red traffic lights, I pray in the bathroom, I pray when I go to bed, I pray when I wake, I pray that one day, one day he will go away, peacefully , blissfully, just that he would leave us and go.

The circle will be complete if he returns 'home'.

Happy for Sheen's to move on. Need some fresh ideas and a coach who uses the bench correctly.

I agree. While Sheens has been good overall for the club in regard to juniors and retention. He seems to be stale on ideas as to how to motivate the team and perhaps the players are a little stale of him as well. A change would not do any harm.

Stale - You mean so stale that last year we were 1 minute from the grand final and that this year despite a horrendus injury toll - the worst i have seen in my years supporting the tigers or in the NRL in general we are still in the top 8 - I hope whoever replaces him is that stale

Also - Any chance we could choose between keeping Bug or Sheens - Because if that was the choice I am even keener to keep Sheens

How is that a foregone conclusion - look at what happened when Baa got his chance at the club!!!

Look at the Cows after Henry replaced Murray - Kearney replacing Anderson at Parra etc….

Unless you can find a deadset sure thing like Bennett - there is every possibility a change could send our club backwards at a great rate!!!

As for stale - take a look at Folkes final years at the dogs for your definition of a stale coach!!!

Nathan Brown will be coming back Supposedly making an announcement within a month . Not many clubs for him to sign with left . Probably us or Panthers

Not much up to date on ethnic religeons but methinks the Hindu god or one of them is Vishnu or Sachin Tendulka!.

They said on on the footy telecast yesterday,Penrith have no money to get a decent coach,so Sheens won't go there, although I wish he would.
I like Brown,he was the wrong coach for Saints at the time as he played with most of the players, but he is a good coach, and I don't see him putting Moltzen at fullback,Morris at half,Fitzy at five eighth,Bronson at prop,Galea at prop or Payne at prop,no coach is that stupid, ohh wait.

I rate Sheens but I really think he needs a new group to work with and we need a new person in charge to reinvigorate the place. I know the tigers have spoken to Brown but mainly as a back up plan If Sheens decides to move on. We need some new faces badly our club seems really flat at present
