Panthers vs Wests Tigers rivalry

We all know that tigers fans hate ivan for what he did to us and rightly so but will we have a rivalry similar to souths vs roosters or cowboys vs bronx? Or is it just media beat up ?

I feel like everytime we play Penrith since ivan did what he did there's always abit of extra venom from the players and more feeling in the games I hope we have build a strong team over the next few years so we can actually be counted in the battle for the West

Kinda hard for a rivalry to be real when some Our squad go home to their Panthers bed sheets.

Might exist to us fans because we're so passionate and loyal however I don't think it's real on the field.

I'd like to think in the future when we've built ourselves a home grown playing group who believe in what we're doing and understand our history, culture and are all on the same path to what the future holds... we'll have a strong rivalry and dislike for every other club in the game.

We need an old school us against them ideal put an imaginary chip on their shoulder personally when I was playing footy to get myself up for games I would always go talk to the oppositions fans and ask them about what they think of the team I played for and I would go back and tell my team this is what they think of us they think were weak easy beats to get the boys up everytime the games were visceral and hard hitting we need that kind of approach

Can't we request the Penrith game one week before SOO ....Melbourne Rd 1...Manly when Turbo is out ...surely the NRL must look at us as the basket case

It’s a one way rivalry. We hate them. They don’t even think about us.
